Hi again everyone.. Our First Grey Photo Contest is over. This is because either the poster has withdrawn their photo or the photo hosting site the photo is on is having trouble. If the photos can't be seen now they can't be judged. Physically there isn't any reason why these two birds couldn't produce off spring.. Now whether or not two different birds like this would choose to mate together is a different matter.. I would doubt that they would..

Judy.. I really don't think I am superstitious but if I knock over salt at a dinner table. I ALWAYS throw some over my right shoulder.. Regarding today.. I think when I was way younger the 13th was kinda cool to think about but these days I don't even notice anymore.. Of course YOU got me thinking about it this year.. So I will be watching for black cats and stuff like that.. :dry:

Hi Paulie.. I gather you didn't get a cage just yet? You do want to get that as soon as possible so your bird can establish a place called home... Regarding your question about changes.. I believe that the more changes you expose your Grey to the better for your grey.. It's important to take him all over your home and expose him to Lots and Lots of people.. Especially now when it his young.. This is show him quickly that people as not a threat... So I wouldn't worry about what you are doing... I know I look forward to all the stories you are gonna be telling us about you baby... and I am also sure your family members here are gonna love them to..

Yes Talon.. it's not about technical expertize.. It's about for filling the contest requirement.. Funny Things Greys do.. and yes.. A cell phone photo can win.. 2 days left folks..

Yeah but Tari you are a much older and wiser person now then some of the teenagers that buy snakes.. And I can tell you that most if not all teenage boys that buy snakes buy them because of the "novelty" of watching it kill and eat.. Now you can certainly dispute this.. but I think it is pretty much the reason.. Remember, I owed the large Boa as a teenager and I also had a King Snake, an Indigo, and a couple of Pythons.. I also don't think there is any dispute that most snakes are purchased by young men and not woman.. So I might have just a tad more experiance in this then you might think... :P

Monique, of course you are right... The saying goes "Be careful what you wish for because you just might get it" I think things around here would change dramatically if Ceasar were allowed free flight around the house.. I better rethink this..
