Yes Judy.. I have found that the best toys have been silly things.. You mention the Starbucks lids.. Ceasar will tear one apart and keep himself entertained the whole time.. I also give him the soft plastic cold cups.. He shreds them like a shredding machine would. A simple slice of a newspaper is also one of Ceasars favorites.. He just loves to shred paper.. One thing that is widely known about Greys is their fear of new things.. This includes toys.. Ceasar sometimes is afraid but usually only takes a day or two of me playing with it until he wants it.. If you are using IE you already know this.. If you are using Firefox Mozilla you don't.. It seems Firefox doesn't show the photo.. Not sure if tech support can fix this but I just wanted to tell you about it anyway.. CD

What I do Tari is I have Ceasar sit on the top of the shower door while I wash... then I take him on my finger and put him under the water. He LOVES it.. we stay there for like 3 or 4 minutes. Ceasars back it to the water and his head is resting on my chest... Then I say "no more" and shut the water. Works great..

Hi everyone. This is the final room that needed that special person to guide it. The Moderator is sort of a director. The director of an Off Topics room needs to have a broad knowledge of many different topics. He also needs to be here on a regular basis.. This was the toughest room for me to fill because of these requirements. I had a few guys I was looking at but no one had all the requirements filled except one . Danmcq brings both the knowledge base of broad subject material along with his desire to be here everyday. Those of you that have been reading Dans posts know this guy means business. As a director for the Off Topic Room I think Dan will keep this room as exciting as it can possibly be. And the Off Topic Room has become one of our most popular rooms.. So without stealing all the thunder.. I would like all of you guys to wish Dan the very best at his new job as Off Topic Room Moderator.. I'll go first.. Congratulations Dan. If you watched the State Of The Forum Address you know I needed a room moderator for this important part of our site. The Bird Food room is one of the most important areas of this site. Afterall, the good health of our Greys IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING.. Many many new users come into our forum having NO IDEA what's the best diet.. In looking around and speaking with the other Moderators I have to agree with what I have been told. LIDIA is the best choice for our NEW BIRD FOOD MODERATOR. Lidia brings more experience to this area then anyone else. After all she has raised a healthy 18 year old Grey.. I think we can all learn how to best feed our birds from listening to Lydia.. So without stealing all the thunder please Congratulate Lydia on this IMPORTANT promotion. So I go first.. Congratulation Lidia..
