aww what a sweety , indeeed enjoy her as a baby they sure do grow up fast , cherish all thoose cuddles , Brandi our grey will be 5 months old August 26th so we still do alot of cuddling around here

for sure he is a yellow crown I have one just like him lol Rocky is our yellow crown , he is 14 months old and a great talker and he acts like a clown also he loves people I can take him any where and he will go to anyone

Rocky is teaching me everyday how to live with an Amazon lol he is a yellow crown but all amazon lol , he can get moody but it doesn't last long , most of time is a happy lively parrot that loves attention , food and his toys and he isn't afraid of any new toy or of new people he will step up for anyone and he is a great talker I agree amazons are the class clowns

I always have extra handfeeing formula lfte over after Brandi gets her nightly feeding and I have discovered Opey and Rocky just love it, I give them some not alot with a plastic spoon, just wondering if this would hurt them in any way or is it like giving extra calories? In that case Rocky doesn't need them lol but it sure won't hurt Opey

she is back up to 360 grams , she gained 2 grams which is good , called the vet and he advised me to put her back on 2 handfeedings if she will take it otherwise he wants to see her asap , well she has a 2pm feeding and she took 20 ml's yeaaa maybe I took her off the afternoon feeding to soon , not sure she really wasn't interested in it and she was eating pretty good so here we go again for a week or 2 to get some more weight on her , hope she gains more eat and starts eating more .....

speaking of weight heres Brandi's weight for the week 7/19/12 370 grams 7/20/12 372 grams 7/21/12 360 grams 7/22/12 358 grams her weight is up and down , she was 15 weeks old the 18th if she is under 358 grams tomorrow morning when I weigh her I will be calling the vet , she has me worried

awww what a cutie he looks like a green pallid quaker they have more of a yellowish green tint and some are more lime green , they are beautiful birds I seen a few at the bird fair this year and I wanted to take one home with me but I didn't ,I hope it all works out and you get tokeep him quakers are awsome little birds

sweet potaoes she gets every night in her veggies , I always add them to some Higgins Cuisine along with a little apple , kale or mustard greens . Squash . and some mixed frozen veggies I will have to try the peanut butter and the cooked pasta , I do add pasta sometimes the whole wheat kind the little ones like the elbow macaroni only it's all wheat ty all for the advice I always weigh her every morning and she has lost some because she was fledging but not to much

she passed everything with flying colrs except for one thing the vet was a little concerned about her weight, my scales says she weighs 370 his scales say she weighs 367 he said she needs to gain more weight , she eats good and loves her veggies plus she is still on a nightly feeding she is 15 weeks old today sooooooo how do I get more food down her? I also added some walnuts, cashews and almonds along with her pellets any suggestions?

Higgens World Cuisine is great food all my birdies eat it and they eat Birdie Bistro to I always add a few veggies to it like Kale or Mustard greens , carrots , sweet potatoes and some apple that way I make enough for 2 or 3 batches

The Tea Kettle is a great idea , before I make my final decission on letting her wings grow out I'am going to discuss it with the vet she has an appointment for next wednesday , just want to get his opinion then I will make a final decission, right now she can still fly a little but not way up high and she has been staying out of the kitchen
