I'am a little late on his 1 year check up he was a year old the end of may but anyways I combined nail trim , wing trim and yearly check up today , he did great no problems , my vet was impressed with his great health and his weight , so he is good until next year

when I'am home at night and not at work I usually spend a good 30 to 45 minutes with Rocky before his bedtime , just me and Rocky , most of the time he just likes to sit and my shoulder close to my neck and grind his beak but then sometimes he likes to lay on his back and get his tummy rubbed and get a good scratching I guess it depends on what mood he is in

none of my birds will eat Harrisons , I have tried twice to get them to eat it , it's a no go around here they seem to love Roudybush and I have some TOPS right now I'am mixing with the Roudybush but so far I just end up tossing them out no one seems to like them I guess we have a Roudybush Flock around here

Rocky was 1 year old in May this year and he is a yellow crown amazon , awsome we have the sam speices lol my quaker is the oldest he will be 4 in september Brandi our little grey will is almost 5 months old , now I will have to find a stick , sounds like that may be a good idea ty

lately Rocky has been real unpredicticable , one day he is good and no problem at all the next day he is very bitey and seems to have an attitude with me , like today I was trying to clean around and inside his cage but I had to convince him for a good 10 minutes to step up for me so I could put him on his tree so I could clean , he sure did give me a hard time and telling him no bite was just a joke finally he stoped trying to bite me and stepped up , seems like he is moody theese days like for the last few weeks but it's only with me , hubby comes home and he is as sweet as can be (go figure) so what am I doing wrong or what is his problem advise needed here or at least some opinions

Rocky and Brandi are never on the same playstand at all , Rocky trys to go after her and I just don't trust them together

I think I will wait for awhile and read the reviews on this new invention and besides the fact I just bought Brandi a brand new flight suit and let me say she isn't fond of it , Rocky on the other hand has no problem getting in to his I think he has it figured out flight suit means out doors and he loves to go outdside

I have 2 playtops and 1 dome cage, Rocky uses every square inch of his playtop and loves it , Opey loves his to , Brandi hasn't ventured on top of her dome top yet but I'am sure she will , I have 2 playstands and a java tree so they all have lots of time out their cages and lots of things to do , one bad thing about the playtops is the tray does block the light and the dome tops get lots of lighting
