I know 3 birds that would love that , Smokey , Rocky and Shamrock , Baby is a little leary of anything that makes a loud noise for now but maybe later so who has this toy?

welcome to the forum , I have 2 greys Smokey will be 5 years old in November 2014 and Baby will be 5 in August 2014 , both are rehomes , Smokey has gotten use to me and my hubby and has really come along ways Baby on the other hand just adores my hubby and is still very nervous around me but hopefully in time she will get use to me

it figures , I'am the one that called about Baby our new grey and drove an hour to go get her and bring her back here and now she loves my hubby I spent extra time with her today just to see if I could scratch her head which is a no no for me according to her , the only time I can do that is when she is with her daddy either sitting on his lap or when she is on his shoulder , hubby can do anything with her and I noticed she still shakes a little when she is with me , so is she still nervous around me ? and it will just take time right? she will step right up for me so I guess that's a good sign , but that's it

Carol I see you have added some new stuff I will be ordering some stuff in 2 or 3 weeks getting taxes done next week then after they get here I will be ready

Welcome to the Forum and Welcome Bingo I have a 4 year old rescued grey that plucks , for sure it has taken a lot of time patience working with him but he is so layed back and he is my baby he wears a sock buddy , heres the link incase you want to try it , he has been wearing them since the end of October and hopefully someday he will stop plucking and will not have to ware them any more , but for now it helps http://www.thesockbuddy.com/

440 or 455 sounds like good weight to me , I weighed Baby today and she weighs 412 Smokey weighed in at 438 which is a lot for him , I may have to cut his nut intake lol , he gets 6 nuts inside his foraging box , it's the plastic kind that has all kinds of ways to open it and it has 6 boxes on it so that 6 nuts per box and believe he waits until I refill it every morning

I think it would be a Rose Breasted Too or a hahns macaw

they don't always hang out together and I watch them when they do but when their on the java tree they are pretty good, Smokey will move out of Baby's way if she gets to close to him , he is such a chicken lol and sooooooooo layed back for a grey
