WOO HOO Marco is not only totally paid off now BUT ....... she'll be coming home Friday April 6th :eek: OMG I CANT stand the wait !!!!!! I visited her yesterday ... yanno there are 5 CAGS there all ready to go home next week as well, when I saw 2 of the other parronts there getting their babies out of the cages both the others threw fits, squawked and screamed and the one even bit the lady and drew blood. The one parront asked me if Marco did that and I said uh.... uhm no, she just gets up to the open door climbs up and then steps on my finger no problem :confused: so hopefully that is because of all the time Ive spent with her. Im so ready for her to come home She had her first shower yesterday and did REALLY w! YEAH!!! Oh I totally agree, when Ive been visiting the petstore I always bring foot toys with me and put Marco on the couch or my lap or the little table and let her play. I also have a big fear of my one dog (golden retriever) so he will need to be watched when she is out of her cage.

I agree, dont give up! She might not pick you as the favorite but I think she will still "in time" interact with you

I was lucky to find the pet store that I did thru the phone book it literally was the last ad in the list!!!! I almost gave up, but they are a small shop that ONLY hand raise all their babies and they do an amazing job! I visit my baby every weekend and she is now almost ready to go home!

I read coconut oil was good for them and safe I found it at Walmart!

I can totally relate Marco was just an egg when I put my deposit down on her .... heck I still have 1 more pmt to make on her :rolleyes: LOL

these last 2 weeks have course seemed much longer then the last 3 months I have been waiting!!!!!!!! :rolleyes: I will go visit her for the LAST time this Saturday ... then pick her up the following Saturday :D

I wonder if all the babies when you bring them home from the breeders or the petstores all go thru a period of not eating or nervousness? It would be helpful to know since I'll b bringing Marco home in alittle over a week ... so I can know of things to look for... I hope DJ is fitting in well and making you and your family smile lots

that is totally right you should be bringing your baby home soon too .... did you have oliver dna'd yet? i coulda swore I hada male but turned out Ms. Marco was quite female .. not that it matters much at all, either way we love her.

well I did find out in the picture of the 3 babies above ..... the one with "Her" mouth open squawkin about is Marco LOLOL ... go figure :rolleyes: bossy already hahahahah... SO heres my news ....... Marco comes home APRIL 7th !!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so excited I cant stand it lol. After my visit this weekend, she is now 48 hours off the feedings and doing well. Eating like a lil oinker lol doing really well with being handled! Infact they said shes the tame'est out of all the 5 cuz Ive spent so much time with her on the weekends she just steps up on my hand from the cage no problem she loves being out and playing with her toys and I really feel that she totally knows me now, I can see her get excited when I approach the cage. The petstore allowed me to set up her NEW and final big girl cage. Its super big like the one she'll have at home she took to it really well when we left Sunday didnt make any fuss at all with the new location or toys. I brought hubby up there with me and she DID fuss about that a wee bit lol. But he worked with her until she was comfortable and I think he'll do fine once shes home The petstore owners were telling me how much they are going to miss me going up there and sitting ALLLLLLLL day with them lol and invited me back with Marco to play with any of the other babies they have. That was great! 2 more weeks .... I hope they hurry!!!!!!! oh and I have tons of new pics and videos at the website if you havent looked lately ... http://sites.google.com/site/marcosperch/

Awwwwwwwwww please do that would be great ... I so wanted to switch Marco's name cuz he is a girl but ... its been Marco for 3 months now lol ... and we are just going to keep it girl or not! Makena is a great name! YEAH!!!! this is so great for you and your family! Im so happy for you and lil DJ Its heart warming what a good parront you are! DJ is definately in the right hands!
