Well I hope your phone book cures your baby from damaging any feathers!!!!!!! looks like she is definately enjoying it these are some of the toys we've made from inexpensive house hold things like I said sewing thread bobbins, clothes pins, popsicle sticks, straws, pvc pipes, rawhide bones and wood from a pecan tree. We dyed the popsicle sticks and the clothes pins in food coloring. I just used cotten rope that I got from the store for clothes line and threaded away

oh no I hope you get it figured out or report them even to your CC company you paid for something they should deliver or be held responsible that is just horrible. I have been busy making mass quantities of home made toys with popsicle sticks, clothes pins, thread bobbins, straws, rawhide bones, pvc pipes and wood from a pecan tree that we have soaked and baked! Its been fun being so creative. Ive also made some from pop bottles, milk lids, soda lids, toilet paper rolls and cotton rope! YEAH! I also have corn husks and paper bags to make foot toys out of ... my neighbor made the cutest little snack packs out of paper and straws for Marco too I should take a pic and show you all I was just speechless it was SO cute!

LMAO at stare and pet and talk and feed... that is funny. Mhm that is how my nights are filled up any more over the last 3 months with videos and starring at his empty cage and working on toys and Im sure once hes home LOL I will be exactly like that stare at the bird feed the bird talk to the bird sing to the bird pet the bird and start it all over again lol but its gonna be SO great :D giggles

Funny you say that about money because when you add how much the cartons used to cost for the GENERIC smokes (heck I couldnt even afford the name brand stuff anymore) in one year its the same price i paid for Marco ... THAT is amazing ... I feel better, I smell better, I dont cough, hack n wheeze anymore ... how can that be a bad thing yanno? Its been almost 3 months I dont even miss it anymore and I dont mind other smokers or being around it .. .it doesnt bother me cuz bottom line ......... YOU have got to want to quit and I do!

WOW WOW what a tank!!!!!!!! magnificient! soooo beautiful. Ive never had great success with fish lol. Ziggy is just beautiful. Im sure everyones ready for me to get Marco home LOL including my kids alllllllll i do is talk about him, go visit him, make toys for him, prepare things for his home coming ... they are already calling me the crazy bird lady :rolleyes:

awww well good good! This place has been a total god send for me to study up and learn as much as I can before my baby gets home! And let me tell you ....... I have learned TONS! I have a little while left hes not fully weened yet ... so maybe 4-5 more weeks. Im hoping he'll be an Easter present! But you cant rush these little guys. I want him healthy and ready so ... whenever that is ... I'll be happy (course tomorrow would be great lol the wait is killing me) :rolleyes: anyways welcome to the forum and be sure to join in ... lots of fun stuff, funny stuff, serious stuff, health warnings, ideas, I love when ppl post pictures of things they have made, I have gotten amazing ideas! Ive been taking pics of really cool toys and tryin to make them at home ... we have had some really neat things turn out! I have bought hundreds of dollars of toys, so now Im just buying lots of parts to make toys at home

So this weeks visit went really well! Marco is sucha precious baby! AND ... this week he is being DNA'd .. .not sure how long it will take to get the results maybe they will be in by my next visit next saturday. *crosses fingers* Anyways ... we tried to work on "step up" this weekend. he did pretty well. The owner will stop taking the baby greys home every night and they are going from their "toddler cages" to big boy cages (kinda like the one I have at home) with lots of toys in them. He even has a swing in his cage that he managed to get on saturday for the first time! He has been weened down to 2 feedings a day and apparently out of the 5 baby greys Im the only parront that visits ... :eek: I have been told that Marco is very tamed and sweet compared to the other 4 that dont get handled on a regular basis. That makes me happy, that once I get home maybe Marco will atleast have ME that he will already know and I will be able to calm him and make his transition easier! least thats the goal! I find that Marco does not like it when there are alot of people in the store thats when he usually wants up close to my body, or when a train goes by. Today was great because he was running his beak up and down the side of my cheek. It made me smile. I even got some sweet kisses in!
