lol that is exactlyyyyyyy how I feel in my house Im the only girl :rolleyes: my house is all about the testosterone including the pets all but 1 lil yorkie I have and shes a girl and very loyal to me lol ... I call my baby a "boy" too tho, I havent had him DNA'd yet ... I dont know that it rightly matters either way ... so Im happy with it. They all think hes a boy at the pet store so Im good with that too lol oooo is it something your sister will have a website for? We'd love to check it out when she gets it up and running again and WELCOME cant wait to see more pics .. your lil guy is ity bity!

did you have your baby dna'd? I havent done that ... dont know that Im going to... dont know that it is really that important, gonna love it either way .. I dunno maybe I'll change my mind lol. Waiting a week seems like foreverrrrrrrrrrrrr nice to know someone else is going thru the same thing too. and Yes they do really change alot in a short time.

I am so thankful that the store he is at is doing such an amazing job raising him. I leave there feeling so good about his care and the people are sooo nice. It really helps ease my mind and will definately make it easier once i get him home to continue to feed him based off their established diet. I cant wait to make some of that yummy birdie bread too I hear you can definately hide some veges in there lol your flock is just beautiful

I would love to construct something like that at my house .. is it something you bought? or made yourself? its just amazing!!!!!!!!! and exactly what I was looking for .. I was going to just buy another huge cage for outside but what you have is so large they can fly and be free in the sunshine!!!!!!!!!! dang that was great

awww well that sounds absolutely wonderful! the owner of the petstore Marco is at STILL is taking them babies home everyyyyyy night with her! She did tell me she was tryin to ween them down from 3 feedings a day to 2 this week I hope that happens, just makes it all the more closer for him to come home lol. He is eating the Zupreem pellets a little bit, she always has food out for him, fresh water and he gets a little plate full of yummy fruits n veges every day. I think he samples everything and I dont think hes a fan of bananas so far but carrots and apples ....... watch out!!!!! he loves them

Hey Jason Welcome to the greys forum. You are going to learn so much it might make your head spin a bit lol. I have browsed and re-browsed this amazing forum and tried to soak up everything, every bit of knowledge I possibly can before my baby comes home. Ive only been here a month or so, but have really felt very welcomed and enjoyed reading everyones posts. Tons of ideas and suggestions that I have already changed in preparation of my baby coming home soon. Cant wait to follow your story further and be apart of the process you will be going thru to find your baby! YEAH ... its such an exciting time. I have tons of websites that I have read so much additional information about Greys on, but being a previous bird owner, you probably know alot more then I did. Marco (my baby) will be my first bird so I have really had to do lots of research and Ive enjoyed my time here. The people here just rock with information and taking the time to make sure you are super informed to make the best decisions for you and your new CAG. Cant wait to read more! :D

my drive is about 100 miles give or take 1 way and I been squeezing out 2 visits on the weekend, but Im taking our lil 4banger beater car to try and save on gas a wee bit it has no power to it no heat and no ac lol ... but gosh dang gas is getting up there so high it just sucks I hope you have a really good visit Sunday! How long do you get to spend w/Oscar? I get in several hours each weekend, I swear Im like part of the family now of the petstore .... but it makes you feel good they greet you by your name and they even bought me lunch last week lol

thats right .. and Marco was Jan 6th ... so we are totally going thru the same experiences. Kinda cool. Isnt it amazing seeing how much they have changed? Each week Im like :eek: HOLY SMOKES look how big he is or look what he can do. Brenda says hes starting to climb the sides of the cage
