hey ya'll I gotta say, I took out the humidfier that I had bought before bringing Marco home and plugged it in a day n half ago and i cant believe the HUGE difference huge huge difference it has made. I do not see her itching HALF as much if at ALL anymore theres half of the little feathers and particals of fluff floating in my air .... I am just shocked at the difference and I hope its also making her feel much better too!

marco was weened on the seed mix and the zupreem fruit blend (and I did check the dates and stuff on the recall list for this product!) ... however almost a year old now I dont find that shes eating much (if any) of the pellets so I might try to change it up to the vege or nut blend and see or a mixture of the 3 but course she eats like an OX at her fresh feeding times which is twice a day during the week (morning/night) and maybe a bit more on weekends when Im home lol Im greatful to the huge blend of fresh food she does like shes a pretty good eater!

I find that Marco loves peanuts however I think she just likes destroying the shell cuz the nuts fall to the floor and go un eaten ..

how do you prepare the artichoke for Jake? Marco has been eating the turnip greens cold like chopped up like lettuce but we havent tried an artichoke yet. She kinda likes brussel sprouts lately.

Awwwwww Im so excited for you!!!!!!!! I think you are doing a great thing for Henry! See now I dont feel so bad naming my baby Marco and its also a girl lol. That is a funnyyyyy story about Henry saying "No" bwahahaha... they have lil attitudes you'll find out but you will have such a great companion! WOO HOO you prolly wont sleep a wink tonite lol just like an expecting parent not to mention you will soon learn how to make HOME MADE toys to save your wallet a wee bit. but Im just as bad as you with buying stuff I just cant say no :rolleyes: so I do both lol buy and make .... <smiles sweetly> cant wait to see pics and hear more funny stories

that is what I use on Marco's cage (I wouldnt say its quick lol from start to finish its about n hour) but I feel good about her putting her beak on it afterwards!
