Thank you for filling us in on Tumba. It sounds like he is happy & feeling well, that is a blessing. I hope he continues to feel well & maybe he will feel like talking again! He sounds like a real trooper! Please do keep us posted, and if you can post a picture of Tumba. We would love to see this wonderful grey friend!

Great pic's!! I have a dove with a nest in my hay barn, but it is really high so I can only see the momma bird. It's great to be able to watch the wild birds!

Thank you for the update Rose. I bet Tumba is really glad to be home and that is good news that he is eating well. Please let us know when you get the biopsy results. All of us here understand how important our little grey friends are to us, and like you we would do all we could to keep them happy & healthy. I hope Tumba continues to feel better, he is lucky to have you!

Isn't it wonderful to hear them jabber? I'm sure she will become comfortable enough to talk around you. Biscotti talks a lot whether I am in the room or not, but he becomes mute if he sees anyone else!!

So sorry to hear this Rose. I have been wondering how Tumba was doing, we really appreciate the update. No wonder he didn't feel like talking. I am hoping that it is an infection, & he will heal. Thoughts & prayers are with you & Tumba. Please keep us posted.

My heart aches for you, wish we all could be there helping search for Murphy. Please remain positive, maybe he is just tired & resting someplace today & will be more active tomorrow trying to get home. Don't lose faith, we know some grey's have been found several days after escaping.

People who think because their dog is "purebred" that they can breed it and "make a bunch of money". "Purebred" doesn't mean breeding quality!!! Not to mention the mutts & heinz 57's ( all wonderful, super companions ) that people will not get spayed & neutered! The millions of cats & dogs put to sleep in this country each year makes me sick. All these animals deserve a forever home.

Oh no. My thoughts & prayers are with you. Keep searching, and if possible have some one make up some flyers to post around, describing Murphy & your contact #'s, and as others have said tell the children in your area- sometimes they are very observant & may see him. Stay strong for Murphy, & keep us posted.

Lol, I enjoy reading these phrases our birds come up with or become obsessed with! Biscotti really like to say peanut butter & will throw it in to phrases where it doesn't fit. It is so funny! Ho, ho, ho merry peanut butter! Ride em' peanut butter!! are a couple. Cracks me up.

AGPT , he just baths in water. He likes to play in the sink with the water running & he also likes to play in a dish of water. Some people use a mister to spray their grey with plain water or 100% aloe vera juice, if their birds won't get in the water.

Thanks everyone for watching my "special" boy, I love, love, love him! Even though he can be a total #@&%^ at times!! He is actually speaking even better now, I will have to get a more recent video up.

I came across this video that was taken last Dec. of Biscotti jabbering after taking a shower. It is one of the few of him outside of his cage because he usually won't leave the camera alone! Happy bird day Cody!! Wow, one year already! Hope you get special bird day treats today!

The 2 suggestions I read about were, 1- take a bar of soap & scribble on the windows, and 2- place some of those static clings on them so they can see them. I have venitian blinds on my windows, so they are easy to adjust or completely open or close. Although they do have a few birdy beak marks on them!! I hope Zak figures out his new surroundings soon.
