Glad to hear things are progressing Rhonnie - any prostate trouble caught early has a huge recovery rate - and fingers crossed that Bill is amongst these numbers. I have to giggle at your being friends with Bill's first wife - I couldn't go within 500 yards of my husband's ex-wife without becoming an axe murderer - but that's an entirely different story!!!!

I could swap you for a bike with no wheels - you can still use it, albeit it not get very far. I'll throw in the tyre pump too - although the tyres don't come with it

Spiky, my cockatiel, used to love being blown on! He'd spread his wings, bend his head and relish in me ruffling his feathers! Harvey is a bit bigger, with a bigger beak - so I'd never really contemplated it - until now.....! He's really moulting - and baby feathers are poking through his grey feathers and he's really quite untidy. I thought I'd take my chances! I've just blown on his head! He loves it - he's bent down for more - under the chin - top of his neck etc!! It's just like Spiky has returned!! I'll do my best though not to get too near that beak

I think after all this time that you've been a member of this forum WITHOUT your grey and the fact that we haven't put you off you should be commended!! I can't wait for Juno's arrival - it's been a long time coming!! 19 days and counting :laugh:

I am so sorry to hear of Bill's illness. I am sure your urologist will have things in hand. Prostate trouble is easily remediable with the correct treatment - success rates are high for people with prostate cancers. You don't mention in so many words - but from your text this is what I am presuming? Don't give up all your prized possessions yet Rhonnie - Bill may just be in a dark place at the moment.
