WOW!!! Thats amazing! Yoyo mimiced that phone dial soo good! My mom's grey Slater also dials the phone and has a conversation with himself but definitely not as good as YoYo! I loved that video, I gave it 5 stars! And karma to you for sharing. Keep the YoYo videos coming.

Haha Thanks Cindy! I hope you can see the video later. And thanks Dave, I will do that next time. We did have a lot more water in there but he kept tipping the bowl over, I need to find a heavier bowl so he can't tip it over so easily.

1. Sometimes they like to have their alone time and don't want to be bothered. I would just leave Chikki alone when he doesn't step up to you, give him his space, he will be fine. 2. It sounds like he prefers men to women. This could be just a stage he is going through or it could be permanent. The best thing your wife can do is ignore him and show no sign of fear. They can sense our feelings so tell her to stay calm around Chikki. Will Chikki accept any treats from her? If so, have your wife be the one giving him treats so maybe they can form a bond. 3. So are you saying he growls when your not in the room? Is he playing with a toy? Sometimes they get overly excited with their toys and growl at them. Is there something particular he is growling at?

Thats great! Will he be weaned when you bring him home? If you have any more pictures of him we would love to see, we love pics.

AWWWW! Oh my goodness Caroline, I am soooo sorry! I know how much you love all of your birds, I bet this is the hardest thing for you to do. I just can't imagine what your going through right now, it makes me sad for you. Whatever happens its your decision, only you can make. Today makes Ecko 24 weeks old! My baby is 6 months old today, awww! :kiss: Well last night he did the cutest thing. We had a big cup of ice water on the table and he kept stealing the icecubes as usual. He would drop them on the table and it would melt and he left a big puddle on the table. All of a sudden he got all puffy and his wings were out and he would put his head down in the puddle and splash. I couldn't believe he was trying to give himself a bath, he has never done that before! So we got him a bowl of ice water to see what he would do and this is a video of what happened. Its like he wanted to bathe but then he didn't want to bathe haha. I thought it was soo cute so I had to share. B)

I know its sad, I have seen all the ads in the paper and on craigslist too! I guess some people don't realize how much work they can be. They can be loud and they can smell bad too.

Hello and Welcome to the forum! That is so wonderful of you to rehome Holly, she is so lucky to have found a loving home. It sounds like she is adjusting to her new home very good. Thats a very creative perch you made for her, if you get a chance you should post it in the homemade toys and playstands room and tell us how you made it. I look forward to hearing more about you and Holly, she sounds like a real character.

I always take out the seeds or pits in fruit. Ecko loves cherries too but I open it and get the pit out first, I say its better safe than sorry. As for the sprouts, yes those are good for them. Ecko loves love loves sprouts and the adzuki beans and lentils are his favorite ones, they are always the first to go.

Thank you Hollysflock, you sound like you know a lot about sugargliders. I really don't think Babi is wild caught though, we got her at a really young age and she has always been shy. Do you still have any pet sugar gliders? If so I would love to see some pictures.

It sounds like he was beak grinding and that is a sign of content and feeling relaxed. They usually do this a lot before falling asleep. Thats a good thing, he is comfortable with you.
