LOL thats funny! I'm glad Ecko hasn't started mimicing the crows around here. Slater does it and boy is it an annoying sound haha. And what a bad Beau for biting his mommy! They get so angry when you take something away from them that they are enjoying tearing up. :evil:

Yea I think she might be busy but I miss her too. Last time she was gone for awhile I just sent her a PM and told her to get her butt back on this forum and give us an update on the twins LOL. Send her a PM she will get it and maybe she will give us an update. Her happy spirit is definitely missed here.

Congrats on bringing Simba home! That is so wonderful of you to get him out of the petshop. I'm glad he is adjusting to your home so well. Are you having trouble uploading the photos? If so go to www.photobucket.com and upload them on there and copy th IMG code onto here, its much easier that way and you can add as many as you want. Can't wait to see some pics of Simba.

Do you remember that thread I posted about Slater(my moms 3 year old CAG) being a one person bird? How he only likes my mother and nobody else. Well there has been some huge progress with Slater and I. Before I wasn't able to get him to step up to me at all, but now he has stepped up a couple times without biting or trying to bite. I can also give him scratches more and even pet down his back, well sometimes. And the other day was the biggest thing that happened! He REGURGITATED for ME!!! How crazy is that!! I couldn't believe it, my mom couldn't either. I was just sitting there talking to him while he was on his perch, I was making noises and he would copy the noises I made and then all of a sudden he start gurging and making whining noises lol what a silly boy. I am so proud of him and so happy that he is starting to trust me a lot more. Now if only my own baby Ecko would show me love like Slater has lol still working on them both, patience is the key!

That is a good idea to clean them. I never cleaned the toys when they were new, I actually never thought of that since they were new but you do have a good point. I would say boil the toys. Get a huge bucket of hot boiling water and put the toys in it. Add vinegar to disinfect them, that is the safest thing to use.

All greys are different and they all grow at a different pace. The last picture of your grey was exactly how Ecko looked when I brought him home at 8 weeks old. I would ask your breeder if they are positive of his hatch date. If they are then thats ok, like I said all greys are different. OMG How horrible that is! This makes me so mad. I am so glad you are trying to do something about it Bonnie. Have you tried calling the Humane society yet? Or writing a letter to them? Ughhh I HATE people like them. Those poor birds. :( :angry: :angry:

Very cute pics of your little baby. And cute video, your baby is so loud, mine was never that loud lol. Your grey must be on the small side. Ecko weighed 467grams at 8 weeks old. Once he flew he went down to 410grams and now after he is weaned he stays at a constant 435grams. It all depends on their bone structure so every grey is different and they all grow at different paces.

Thats a very nice perch and cheap too! Did you make it? Pepper looks great on it.
