Lol soo cute!! He says "BRIT". My mom taught him it I'm sure because she used to tell him that all the time. TOday he was sitting at the top of the shower while i was taking a shower he goes "BRRRRIT" bahhaa

okay i am nuts.. and i want to make Pepper an african grey shaped cake for her birthday. which isnt until July 4th LOL but oh well. I was looking for some ideas. I want it to look like a parrot and just have a red tail etc, but does anyone have any input on how i could do this and make it into a cake she can eat?!

I've never heard of that before, but then again I'm not a grey expert LOL I'm not sure what Pepper is yet..though I have the dna test [i thought I sent it out but never got a stamp] lol that goes out tomorrow... But Pepper is a pretty good talker. Her first word was "good boy" when she was 5 months. N she said Hello and other gibberish

Lol Pepper's latest favorite thing is to sit on the ledge of the bath tub while I take a bath. Usually I put her perch in sight of the bathroom, but lately she crawls down, runs on the floor to the bathroom to sit by me on the tub LOL soo cute!!

I'm sorrry Ours flew out last month, and we got her back the next day. Make sure you print a bunch of fliers, call the radio stations, and put ads on Craigslist. Ours was less than 2 mins from our apartment. Im sure yours isnt far. Dont give up. I firmly believe Pepper heard us calling for her for 10+ hours..

Laame.. it wasn't sent out!! The mailman didn't take it. Ugh..annoying!

Oh, I definitely think they should be covered. It lets them know that it's bed time, and they probably sleep 10x better with the cage covered. Pepper loves being covered; whether it's in her cage or on my lap.

I agree there.. I like Pepper a lot more than our dog lol. I personally wouldn't mind just having Pepper as a pet!

Hmm.. Pepper goes to sleep around at the earliest 9:30pm, and the latest 10 - 11pm..but most times not that late because I, myself am always tired LOL and on weekdays usually I'll get her up between 630isham - 8am depends. Normally she doesnt make a sound in her cage, unless she is up and doesnt wanna be in there anymore. Every morning I take her out she usually stretches then goes "WOO" and steps up! =) lol So I guess she doesn't get the full sleep, but it doesn't seem to affect her mood at all. She takes naps during the days....and yea!

Awww!! It's cute how much you obviously love Issac:) I know how you feel. I work Mon & Wed, 8am til anywhere from 4:30 or 5:30 pm then Tues & Thursday 12 til 4:30 or 5:30 ish. I hate leaving Pepper! LOL Whenever I get home I run right into her room and get her to step up, etc. I really don't like being gone for too long because I feel guilty...but like you, I come home and she is doing fine and seems happy. I bet they do enjoy a bit of "me" time. But it seems like you do spend a good amount of time with Issac, you're fine

I am soo excited!! I can't wait to see if Pepper is a girl or boy. I think she's a girl, though I see her as a boy? LOL it's weird. My parents say she is a boy..I guess we'll see!!:laugh: And on a side note, Pepper loves her new toy
