She is FINE thankfully. That'll NEVER happen again.

OK .. Soooo my mom said she hopes that some of the tongue isnt missing [it may be a little bit] and if its bruised or hurt obviously. How long is it normal for them to probably not eat? My mom said the bird is having a hard time eating and isn't eating much [well I wouldnt either if I got bit in the tongue!]

pooooooooor thing she had to get two shots , one for infection and one for the pain. she was bleeding a lot but is OK. they were locking beaks and playing. needless to say, we always keep them pretty distant but today they got too close

ha ha ha i have noticed he hasnt been itching/grooming as much. is there any way that relieved his itching?

salad dressing on Pepper . i went to open it and it went all over his back. of course i rushed and gave him a shower, then he gave himself a shower... but i can still see a bit of a stain from the dressing. this shouldnt hurt him, right?! i feel so bad i did that!

: ) i love thinking of all the memories we've had with Peppy already. LOL i just thought of the time that he went for my braces and pulled my wire half an inch out of my mouth...and how bad it hurt

I think he will be fine! We moved out of my parents house into an apt 30 mins away, and we didn't bring Pepper in until two weeks later when we had the whole place set up. That way he was surrounded by familiar things. After a few days he was normal and back to his talkative self.

Maybe there is hope! I know Pepper has definitely chosen my boyfriend as "the one" there is no doubt in my mind. However, he likes to cuddle with me too, and my mom and dad sometimes. He loves people!

OMG!! scary!! we see hawks all the time at my moms house, she mentioned they could get our birds and im like "nahh..wont happen" im wrong!! im so glad she hugged him and saved the bird

also he seems to be acting normal... hes been really talkative, and grooming himself...and just hanging out

Ok...this looks like blood to me, but I could be wrong. Also Pepper did have Lasgna tonight and Pasta w/ red sauce yesterday. I am just wondering because I love Pepper to death, but before I freak out too much can I get another opinion ? These are his poops so far. I may just be paranoid but I don't want to take ANY chances!

Umm Pepper is terrified of this alligator head my parents have [its a tiny one], brushes, MASKS, vacuums, brooms/mops, etc lol omg any kind of mask and he goes nuts. I dont even bring them out if hes around because that is just really messed up to do so.

lol Pepper and my brother. I am soo excited we got to let Pepper hangout outside with us on the deck while we went swimming!! I think at first he was a little scared but then he got comfortable and seemed to love it. I wish we could get a harness on him..he'd love it. Lol we'll try again one of these days, shouldve introduced this earlier but Pepper has always been feisty its what we love about him

That's awesome! I hope to get a harness on Pepper one day. Lol @ the pigeon comment before. I've gotten that, a parakeet...etc. Pft they are too beautiful to look like a pigeon!
