Their companionship should last a lifetime and they need much more attention but they are so worth it. Ask any questions you have and read all the many threads here about greys. Wildiesel, every grey is different. My Ana Grey is a shy bird around other people, but this is also my choice as I do not let other people, except family, touch her. She has full run of my home (stay at home person) except for sleeping and when I am out she is caged. She is fearless when it comes to new things like toys. I do what I believe is right for my grey regardless of what I have read. We all need to watch our companions and do what is right for each, separately, as like people, they are all different. Please introduce yourself in the Welcome Room and tell us a little about yourself and your grey(s).

Thanks Marguerite, Pat and Char for the well wishes for my little sweet pea. Ana Grey loves her Jolly Ball; got on it right-a-way. She is fearless and very curious. New things have never phased her.

I give my Ana Grey and Eclectus NurtiBerry Veggies and pecans and walnuts as treats. Peanuts are also a hit for my fids.

Spinner are you asking how much pellets are given a day? I put some pellets (1/2c)in every morning and check it at night and put more pellets in as needed. I don't think my birds can ever have too many pellets.

One day as you again tell all your co-workers how much you need a long vacation your boss hears your complain and is so fed up with your complaining he throws his hands up in the air and says "Go, go get out on a long vacation." How long you ask and your boss says "Just get going, we'll call you when your long vacation is over." Unfortunately, even after 36 weeks, you still haven't been called to return to work!!!! I wished I could grant wishes to anyone I wanted to.

I made Ana Grey a toy for her birthday Carol and believe me if you saw it you would know... YES YOU ARE A GREAT TOYMAKER!!!! Even Ana Grey is too embarrassed to play with the toy I tried to make!!! :ohmy: :dry:
