  1. Judy, Judy, Judy, you naughty girl!!!!! {Feel-good-0002006E}
  2. So sorry that Athena has taken flight. I pray that she is safe and comes home safely. Fingered crossed that you will hear good news soon.
  3. So sorry Jess. My grey's breeder clipped my Ana Grey before I picked her up also. Ana Grey is now a year old and still has those same clipped feathers. I can't wait for her to shed them and be able to fly!
  4. Oh my Happy Birthday Julie!!!! Now you do know there is a rule that when you meet 50 you have an option to go backward if you wish. I am now 37 years old and my youngest child is 42! I can remember the year my oldest daughter and I were twins and then the next she was older!!:ohmy: Enjoy your birthday--age is just a state of mind.
  5. Just to be on the safe side, I too would have a avian vet check it out. I hope Leto is all right!
  6. How about Bytes, Archie, Dram, or Data. Sorry I found this on a computer term site. I am truly computer illiterate. Good luck on finding the right name for your new baby.
  7. Char, glad to hear Whisper is okay this morning!!!
  8. Good going KC. Congratulations from a 21+ year smoke free person! It can be done!!!
  9. So sorry Catsnack if having a grey isn't working out for you. Abby is probably calling out to you because she is lonely or just needs attention. I leave a TV or radio on if I am not available for my fids during the day. Because I am a night person, I don't get up early. My fids have adjusted to my being a late riser. I always make sure I clean their cages and refresh all the dry foods and water before I put them to bed at night so they have things to eat when they get up early. They have a lot of foraging and shredables in their cages so they can stay busy. They are however out of these cages first thing when I get up and I talk to them a lot. They only go back in if I will not be around or at bedtime. Only you know if you are giving Abby the quality time she deserves. They are very intelligent creatures and like all smart beings they need stimulation and kept busy. Good luck on whatever you decide, I know you will do what is best for your sweet grey.
  10. I couldn't be happier for you and Harley, Pat. You are just the forever parront he needs. He is just gorgeous!!!
  11. Debbie, Your fids look great. Thanks for sharing them with us. I too have an Eclectus (re-homed plucker, 10+years) and a Timneh grey (year old). How do your two get along? My Ana Grey would love to be friends with Sully the Eclectus but he wants nothing to do with her and would beak her to pieces if he got the chance.
  12. Hi Scott, very nice introduction. Alexander sounds like a marvelous grey. I always have soft spot for the older greys. I look forward to hearing much more about Alexander. Welcome to the Grey family!
  13. Char, I hope Whisper is all right. Hoping to hear very soon that she is fine.
  14. Nice update on Houdini, Deb. I hope Houdini will continue to be a good boy and eat his veggies!
  15. My little lady is named Ana Grey. She just turned one-year old. I like the names Winnie and Roco. I hope you find the right grey for you.

    Fruitloop is gorgeous Bob. Thanks for sharing him with us. Can't wait to hear more about him!
  17. Hi Bob, sounds like you are an old hand with fids. I too have a male Eclectus and if I get another bird I would like it to be a sun conure. If you like, you can share your Eclectus and sun conure with us in the "Other Birds Room." What are your companions' names? Looking forward to hearing more about your new grey. Welcome to the Grey family!
  18. Oh sweet Dayo!!!! Be careful!!!!:blink: :laugh:
  19. Hi Bob, what a very nice looking CAG you have. What is his name? Karma to you for taking in an older grey. It does take some time for some of our greys to get use to new things. Just be patient with your sweet guy. There is a lot information in various threads of this forum and you should ask any questions you might have. Please introduce yourself in the Welcome/Introduction Room so we can give you a proper welcome.
  20. GorgASS have you directed your neighbor to the Forum? It might be just as hard to get her grey from the ground/floor if he is clipped and slides down. Perhaps she could save his favorite treats for when he comes to her. I know if I say "Want a treat, come here" to Ana Grey she comes to me ASAP, little greedy piggy that she is!!!:laugh: I hope your neighbor will at least let you help her get her grey down from the cabinets. This makes me very sad, I hope a better solution is found. Please let us know what happens. Karma to you for trying.
  21. Pugman, karma to you for starting this thread. I for one will be waiting to see how things progress for you and Sophie. Sophie is very lucky to have found you and I know without a doubt that she will have you wrapped around her finger/wing in no time.:laugh: Sophie is so worth the time and will be a wonderful forever companion. Good Luck!!!
  22. I always love to hear about Dayo. He must be a kick in the pants all the time!! :laugh: Such a very busy scoundrel!!{Feel-good-0002006E}
  23. Hi Diane, congratulations on your new baby! Welcome to the grey family!
