Hi Maplefalls what is your bird's name? I'm assuming at least one is a grey. Would love to hear more about your fids. I agree I don't think the crickets will bother your grey but will certainly make a tasty meal if they get too close.
Jess thanks for the great update on Yoshi. Sound like she is fitting right in with the family. They are amazing companions and such a joy to have around.
Hi Rain, glad you decided to join the Grey family. Can't wait to hear more about your fids and see some pictures of them.

Post edited by: luvparrots, at: 2009/08/24 03:40
Oh I love Artie's picture. He is just a little guy. How old is he? My fawn pug, Lily, is 8 years old and I love her to pieces. Thanks for sharing Artie with us!
Hi jshendrix, congratulations on your new baby Wyatt. Having toys is great for our greys especially if some are foraging toys to keep them busy and they have to work some to earn a treat. I too either leave on the radio or tv for my fids when I am away. Welcome to the Grey family. Can't wait to see some pictures of Wyatt and hear more about him.
Perhaps a drink of water before you start your trip back. And some apple slices and carrot sticks or the like so that you can hydrate your new baby and keep the mess down on the way home. When I brought my TAG home frankly all she wanted was to look out her cage and make sounds at me. So I talked to her on the way home. Congratulations on finally bringing your baby home. Can't wait to hear about how the trip goes and see some pictures.
Lucky, unfortunately there is no way to make your bird speak fluently as soon as possible. Since you posted in the Other Birds Room I assume that the bird you have is not an African Grey. A parrot will speak in its own good time if it going to speak at all. First the bird must feel comfortable and loved. Why don't you tell us a little more about your parrot.
Pat, Harley looks just gorgeous. His feathers are beautiful and he stands so regal and proud. You have every right to be proud of this magnificent bird. Congratulations on the great job you have done with Harley!
Congratulations on your new family members, Francois and Andorra, I know that you will provide them with a final loving forever home. Can't wait to see some pictures of them in their new aviary. Karmas to you Babygirl for you and your hubby's big hearts.
