  1. How are things going. Is the cockatoo back home??
  2. Hi, welcome to our Grey Family! Looking forward to hearing more about Peggy and Button.
  3. So glad Corky is okay. Corky has been around here a long time like my parrots and is part of my gang too even if it is only on these Forum pages.
  4. Good thoughts and prayers coming Maalik's way.
  5. Hi Syed, looking forward to learning more about you and Charlie. Welcome to the Grey Family!
  6. My male CAG is a big talker. He also can sing. My female TAG only talks now and then but she is the boss and my big CAG respects her.
  7. Lovely picture of grey and beautiful daughter!!!
  8. Hi Neanderthal, welcome to the Grey Family. Looking forward to seeing some pictures of your grey and learning more about her.
  9. I have both a a CAG and a TAG which I have had for over seven years. They are not head shakers.
  10. Hi Thewayfarer. Looking forward to learning more about Kiwi. Welcome to the Grey Forum!
  11. Flying for for my parrots is very important to me. That's me, of course, not everyone. I have never clipped my greys although my CAG was lightly clipped when I got him. They both love to fly from room to room after me and I am very careful to lock all outside doors and have screens on them. I live alone so my parrots are safe. if I had small children or an "open" house, things, of course would be different.
  12. Thanks for sharing your birdroom with us. Great spot of your for feathered gang. I enjoy your videos, or should I say, your birdie videos!!!!
  13. Hello Q9550, Welcome to the Grey Family. Looking forward to learning more about Nonesense and you.
  14. Great pictures. What a good looking Grey!!!!
  15. Sunlight, get some sunlight to your greys. My greys have a wire cage out the back bedroom window that I open and put them out on sunny days. They love it and can come and go as they want in the sunlight or shade. Flighted greys a true joy!!!!
  16. Hey as a long time member of the Grey family, whine all you want and get feeling better soon.
  17. Hi John, welcome to the Grey Family. Looking forward to learning more about you, Charlie Parker and partner. Pictures are always appreciated hint, hint!!!
  18. Great videos. My CAG, Sterling Gris, is the talker in this household but he does not like cameras or video. Silent as a lamb if he sees one.
  19. My grey cages are EZ care ones. The total front opens up for wonderful cleaning.
  20. Very nice little lady. Very wanting to please.
  21. My CAG and TAG do not go to the bottom of their cages. They spend their cage time on the long perch or at the food perches. They just wait for out of cage time. They love to follow me around the rooms and sit at my couch to snack or get tickled by me. Sterling Gris beats on his toys a little but Ana Grey does not. Different personalities for my babies.
  22. Great and important subject..... I have thought about this problem as I am now getting into my 70's. My Father died at 93 but my Mother at 39.... My youngest, Sheila (Sheshe) wants to care for Sterling Gris. Sterling Gris talks to her and has a couple of sentences Sheshe taught him "Sheshe loves diamonds." and "Sheshe wants a cocktail." As for Ana Grey my oldest, Donna, has found a couple of medical friends who would love to have a parrot. My neighbors have first choice if they would like a grey. My Greys love the 25 year old son, Jordan, who is 6' 4" and Sterling Gris loves to ride on his high up shoulder. I have also asked my daughter to come on GreyForums to see if anyone would like Ana Grey or Sterling Gris as you all know them so well. Tough topics but oh so necessary. Euthanasia..... don't be ridiculous!!!! My parrots deserve to enjoy their lives and if for some reason my family cannot care for my babies then my Donna has others in mind. This is something that is very important to me.... these are my feathered family.
  23. "I have read from several different sources that Timnehs are better suited for families and have more "stable" dispositions as far as being able to handle stress and change better. I would be very interested in hearing from members here about their experiences with both." I got my Timneh, Ana Grey, first and she is very calm and very sure of herself. She is small and very confident. I have had her in my home since 2008. As long as you feed her nuts/seeds she loves you, anyone. My Congo, Sterling Gris, is a big guy with light grey tones. I got him about one-half years after my Timneh. He is much more leery of others except me. Ana Grey is the boss and he follows her lead although she is much smaller than him. Different personalities. They do live together without problems but they do not really interact.
