Hi Kitty. I ordered my cards and They are a photo of my tiel Cracker made into greatings cards. I had Charlie on last years so Cracker has his turn now. It is a bit warmer today hear, no snow where I am just a bit damp.Just done the cages and give both birds a bath so they are busy putting feathers in order.

Lets hope Indi is fine.The weight is going on so that can only be good.Keep us informed.

Yes do phone a vet. This does not sound right.

I dont give Charlie any suplements.He is on Harrisons Pellets and has tuns of fruit and veg so it is not needed.I did give Cracker my tiel pro biotic in his water when he was very ill last year but not once he fully recovered and regained his weight. Not long in from work,it was so cold. I am thawing out now and having a glass of wine.The house is nice and warm,I am looking forward to the holidays. I have a full two weeks off. cant wait.JUst seen a weather report It is going to be freezing tomorrow.

Hi. It is going to take a lot of time and patiance to turn the attitude Of Billy around. He has been cage bound for a long time and to him it is the safest place to be.You dont say if Billy has moved house as well as having a new carer.If he has this will only add to his fear and agression. I appreciate that you wish Billy to have a better life but it wont happen anytime soon. Caroline has given good advise. Just keep talking to him and when he is ok with that get closer to the cage untill he is actually showing an interest in you. Then you can offer treats by hand In the meantime you have to be patiant and continue caring for him, food, water ect. At the moment the way to his heart will be food.

I do shift work and that means my birds are up way past sunset. I let them out for a bit when I get home and they seem to enjoy it. I would not use an electric blanket near Gregory.If you really feel it necesary use some form of electric heater well away from him.I do not have heating on after I have gon to bed and my two are fine.I do put heating on when I am In work so the house stays warm enough.
