Charlie loves his chicken. It does seem strange giving a bird poultry but we humans do far stranger things.

We had our christmas dinner in work today, it was really nice.Children from a local primary school came in to work and sung carols and songs from their school play, they were so cute.We made up a little party in a corner of the canteen for them and they all went back to school full of junk,jelly and ice cream,sweets, cake. I dont think it is unusual for a grey to be quiet and still in Pandas situation.At the moment I would just do things at her pace and let her settle. If she will step up thats brilliant but dont push the issue if she appears scared.You have gone from owning no birds to owning 2 of one of the worlds most sensitive and complex parrots.My advise is to do lots of research both hear on this forum and in the numerous species spacific books for sale. I am sure Panda will settle and make more sounds but it is by no means guaranteed she will talk. Most do but not all. Ask any questions you may have and I am sure someone will help. Good luck

Hi hope all goes well with Zahzus next op. Charlie has had metacam in the past and it did help him. It is a pain killer and I think an anti inflamatory. I think it unlikely that her negative test was wrong and the problems are coming from her ears.
