I hope it works for Beau Julie, I bought the same kit for Chalie and he freaked having something over the top of his cage. I also worried about the wires as they spend a lot of time on each others cages. Let us know how he gets on wont you:)

One of mine injured his wing a few weeks ago. He still tried to fly! The avian vet diagnosed soft tissue damage and he was given Metacam to relieve any pain.He also had to stay in his cage for a few days to rest his wing. I would definetly suggest you take your baby for it checking out. Hope everything will be okay.

This is so sad Pat, it really upset me. Who could starve any animal? I would rather go without than see my birds go hungry. You do what you feel is needed, if you think you will get help and support then report her. Keep us posted with the vets visit, I hope everything will be ok:)

Ive not felt ready to post really till now but Ive had a very sad week this week. I lost my Grandma on Saturday, she had been poorly for a few months and although it was in some way expected it has hit me really hard. I have been in close contact with my close forum friends and I want to thnk them for all their Love and support they have been a god send but I obviously havn't been on the forum as much as you can understand. Theres so much to sort out this week, I hope to go visit the Chapel of rest to visit some time tomorrow. R.I.P Grandma,my thoughts and love will always be with you:kiss:

Well, I suppose we all do different things but I do both. The birds have a constant supply of pellets in their cages as well as a small amount of seed and I also feed them a meal twice a day, which includes their fresh fruits and veggies. This works for mine and they seem to be happy with this routine. All mine are good eaters and not very picky, Im quite lucky when it comes to feeding them.

OMG that is hilarious! I love both the shots they are great! The lengths these birds go to to be near us:P I was considering blinds as they have chewed my voile panels, maybe not a good idea then?

Jane, I hope Kea makes a good recovery. One of mine has been cage bound for a few days due to injury, he was well fed up as I still let the others out! Had to do it for his own good though! Keep us posted wont you?

Well, due to Keeko not being as active as normal (but he is a lot better today) he decided to sit with Jasper for well over an hour! There is hope and maybe a rest for Jasper as well! Im sure we will be back to normal in a few days.:laugh: Note how they sit as far apart as they can! This is great to see, maybe they are learning they dont have to get too close to tolerate each other.
