  1. Josey is like Dayo, she does not fluff up or open her wings, she just kind of stands there and takes it and I keep doing it!!

  4. Of course not, never:whistle: Never heard of Gordon Ramsey, is he someone in the UK?
  5. Yeah you canwork something out for I have a grey and a sun conure and they don't get along but they do co-exist in the same room just not near each other. My conure usually spends the time on my shoulder while the grey is on her playstand, works for me.
  6. Did I miss something, who is Gordon Grey and does he use foul language? Somebody please explain!!!
  7. Thanks Mandi for a laugh, those are some funny shots of your dogs, most wouldn't allow you to put glasses on long enough to get a shot of it.
  8. You're probably right, but she said forum not room:blush: oh well can't win them all I guess:whistle:
  9. Mark if you could capture that on video of Max dropping those pennies in the pot we would love to see that, especially the part where he leans forward to drop it in, I'll bet Max is hilarious to watch.
  10. Well I guess you can't believe everything you read, Oggie can talk and it just took him awhile to do so, but now the words and phrases will pour out of him, congrats on him talking after all, just when you thought he never would, bam, he surprises you with hello. Time is running out if you haven't filed yet, but I have so no worries here.B)
  11. That sounds like it was the right thing to do, bring him in to the temperature he was used to then gradually lowering it until it reached your normal room temperature and it worked, excellent!!!
  12. Johnny wrote: LOL I would never accuse you of something like that, now that is funny:laugh: hope you have a sense of humor for I do. And you can just call me Judy, so he goes nuts over strangers, wow he really is a one person grey, some are like that and now we know why his name is Monster, fits.
  13. Just how many birds do you have Johnny?
  14. Amber most greys do not get along with other birds and even other greys unless they are clutch mates, thats just how they are and you cannot force it either. I would keep them separated for the sake of the smaller bird.
  15. We love pictures, really we do. B)
  16. Johnny, she is one of the nicest women you will ever have the priviledge to chat with, a very warm and caring person to anyone and everyone on this forum of course don't tell her I said that, it will give her a swell head if you catch my drift:laugh:
  17. I want to hear more about this "monster" of yours Johnny when you get the chance, he must be a little devil with anyone but you:P
  18. If you have ever watched chickens scratching in the dirt for bugs and seeds that is what it is like and my Josey still does it and she is going on 2 years old next month, but it is funny to watch them do it.
  19. Max will adjust to your home temperature of whatever you are comfortable in he will be the same.
  20. Hello Fairymyst78 and welcome to the family, so glad you could join us and we look forward to hearing more about you and this new grey you are getting. Yes if you introduce the wheelchair early on your baby will get used to it quickly and never know any difference. I hope when you do go visit you are able to go inside as the breeder probably will not be able to bring it out to you. These next few months will feel like the longest time you have ever spent but it will be worth it when you finally get to bring that baby home and then you will have a lifetime to enjoy your new grey. Please take a little time and read thru the many threads for lots of useful information and do not hesitate to ask questions you may have and we will do our best to get you some answers and help you in any way we can. The explanation of karma is in our FAQ section but you no longer have 0 karma for I just gave you one. We would enjoy seeing pictures of your new baby when you do go visit or certainly by the time you bring it home.
  21. Hello Johnny and welcome to the family, so glad you decided to join us and we look forward to hearing more about you and Monster, now that is one of the most unusual names I have heard for a grey. I am curious as to how you came to name him Monster, he certainly can't be like a little monster, he must be sweet as sugar and not at all spoiled is he!!! Take a little time and read thru the many threads for lots of useful information and do not hesitate to ask questions you may have, we will do our best to get you some answers and help you in any way we can. If you have some pictures of Monster you would like to share with us we would love to see him.
  22. Thats wonderful news Tracy, now you can really take care of her like you want to and she is in good hands too with her mum, thanks for letting us know.
  23. Hello Hjcruzer and welcome to the family, so glad you decided to join us and we look forward to hearing more about you and Tiki. One suggestion for getting her used to the cage is not to allow her to just jump out on you whenever you open the door, make some routine times she is allowed to come out of her cage to interact and play with you. She will get used to the cage soon especially if you don't run to her and let her out every time she sees you, she will eventually come to see her cage as her sanctuary. Take a little time to read thru the threads for lots of useful information and do not hesitate to ask questions you may have. We will do our best to get you some answers and help you in any way we can. If you have some pictures of Tiki you would like to share with us we would love to see her.
