I agree with the others, your bird should be in the room where most of the family spends their time, they are social creatures and want to be with their flock.
Also if you ever use any bleach when washing clothes that would give off toxic fumes that could kill your bird.
I bet he did eat pellets where he came from since he took to them so easily, I am glad he is doing so much better and I hope he doesn't have PBFD, have my fingers crossed and continue to pray for him.
Thanks for keeping us up to date on Rishi, you are a wonderful parront.
That sounds kind of like my schedule, I work from 8 to 4 and I let my fids out when I get home from work and they stay out until they go to bed at around 9:30 and mine are ok with that. Of course on weekends they are out more, not all day for I find I can get more done in the morning if I leave them in their cage but once they come out then they stay out for the remainder of the day unless I go out.
I'm so happy the forum is back up and running, what an evening I had without my favorite place to hang out because the forum was down, literally did not know what to do with myself but I am fine now.
Gonna get a little work done today then its back to cruising, the forum of course, silly me.:silly:
Congrats on the first hatch, this is so exciting, guess the others will follow soon, wow I can't express how grateful I am that you allowed us to view this piece of history in the making, can't wait to see the others hatch, you must be so proud Dave.
I hope his owner is found but it is not Max for Skuffy found his missing grey. That is so sad to hear that many greys are missing in the UK, people need to take better care of their loved ones.
I have a boing hanging in Josey's cage, it is not the biggest one they make but you can adjust them to hang shorter or longer. You can easily find them just do a search for boings and many bird sites sell them.
Thats so cute, they are determined they are not going to be denied what they feel is theirs, glad to hear most of the chocolate part fell away but watch the snacking next time as he might not be so lucky.
Thanks for sharing that story with us Dan.
Looks great Bernie, you have fixed it up real nice, now lets hope he doesn't have to come back home to live, thanks for sharing some pics of your new "den" with us.
