  1. Your pictures are almost like we are there with you, Cocoa is so lucky to be able to go along with you, wonder how he liked the pigeons there in the last few shots, thanks for sharing them with us.
  2. That is interesting looking Jay and there must be some simple explanation for why it appears to be almost invisible, maybe Spock is slowing being "beamed up" maybe some photography experts can explain it.
  3. I just ordered two of them, one just like the one Adina had and the ball by itself, Josey loves balls, can't wait for them to come to try them out on her.
  4. Some greys do wean early and if he doesn't want it then he doesn't want it and he seems to be eating pellets and other foods well so I wouldn't worry about it, he knows if he wants it or not and obviously he has better things to do than suck on formula besides if Jay says cut one feeding out then he should know.
  5. Emma is such a ham and she really does enjoy life, she is one lucky grey and so spoiled by her mom, thanks for sharing that with us.
  6. Gosh sakes, I knew that Cocoa gets around and is seen by many people but I had no idea she is so famous, Cocoa really is a star in her own right, I am in awe.
  7. This is very interesting to say the least but it is possible the camera picks up things we don't notice with the open eye because it freezes that moment of the shot, please do tell us what you find out from the vet Tigerlily.
  8. I have never heard of the lion dance before but if it is possible I believe that Cocoa will be able to do it as she can do anything, I love the way she has her talons crossed in that second shot, how cute, thanks for sharing some pics of your lovely gal.
  9. Happy Birthday Jay, hope you have a wonderful one today filled with love and happiness.
  10. That was wonderful Mrjayd, Nala is so pretty and she has grown into a great flyer, thanks for sharing that with us.
  11. They are messing with the natural coloring of these birds in hybridizing these variations, its just unnatural to me and I think greys are beautiful in their own chosen coloring, why mess with perfection.
  12. My sun conure uses hers but I have never provided one for Josey my grey, I doubt that she would use it, probably would be so scared of it if I put it in her cage but it seems some greys do like and use them.

    Baby's ok!

Thanks Jay for letting us know that his baby is doing just fine, with your help how could he not for you certainly guided Tanya thru the handfeeding of her two grey babies. I hope Laker4life will come back and start posting on his own soon and with pictures please.
  14. Thanks Dave, that should help to put Mark's mind at ease. Welcome back Mark, haven't seen or heard from you in quite a while, please don't stay away so long for you are missed.
  15. Congrats Thejoie on becoming a new to your grey owner, you must be so excited I have to agree with Janet, go ahead and purchase a bigger cage and have it ready for when you bring this grey home for one more new thing won't make that much difference. He will be coming to a new to him home, cage, people and completely new to him surroundings, just talk to him and let him settle into his new home and cage. Bigger is always better, they need room to be able to open their wings fully and not touch the sides so if you have the space for a larger cage than he now occupies then by all means get him a large one.
  16. I have got to get one of those for Josey, I think it is so neat and I love the little tray underneath the ball to catch some of the pieces that fall out so they can be retrieved for savoring every morsel.
  17. Cocoa is so lucky to be able to enjoy these outings and we love seeing her fly, great return on that second one, that was a very pretty cat, maybe it was just enjoying the flight too but hoping it would end up as breakfast but not in Sanggay's lifetime, no sirree, thanks for sharing your Saturday morning with us on Friday night.
  18. That was AWESOME Lyn, thanks for sharing that with us, you did an excellent job on it, loved it.
  19. I really like that buffet ball and it looks like it would keep a grey busy for a while trying to get the goodies inside, I haven't ordered anything from that site but I may just have to for I haven't seen that particular ball anywhere before, thanks for sharing the shipment of goodies with us, Emma and Sachi are two lucky fids.
  20. Issac is looking good as always, pretty soon you will hear more vocalizations from him and then you will be marveling at how smart he is, you have a handsome little fella Stephen, thanks for sharing a few new pics of him.
  21. She is definitely a cutie pie and adorable, thanks for sharing the pics of her with us and the one you love could be your new avatar.
  22. Thats good news about Aoodi and I know you can't wait to bring him home, he has been thru a lot but it may have saved his life, thanks for updating us on him and please continue to update us for we care, no thanks needed, just bring him home safely is thanks enough.
  23. Congrats go to Janet's grandson on his accomplishment, thats wonderful and Cheyenness you have some lovely little cockatiel babies but I cannot think of anything new for me this week other than I have yet to find the owner of the little tiel that landed on my doorstep over a week ago, no one claims it then it is mine, no it has an owner, they just haven't looked good enough is all.
  24. She is so happy to be home she is lost for words, thanks for sharing that with us Adina.
