  1. Peugeot doesn't want you getting too far away, such a sweet little bird.
  2. Give it time and Echo will have those window sills whipped into shape, what a cutie.
  3. Jill, I remember that too and we had to get up to change the channels.
  4. Wow Stephen, Issac looks great, maybe the worst is behind you now and he will leave them alone.
  5. Its risky to have him outside without being in a harness or in a small cage even if he is clipped, many a clipped bird has taken off if startled and can fly enough to be out of sight in a very short period of time, its not worth the risk to lose him when it can be easily prevented. An aviator harness is the best if you want to go that route and a small travel size cage is a good bet for some outdoor time to get a little sunshine.
  6. Seems like Greycie has you wrapped around her talons, sounds like a perfect world to me.
  7. It looks like you lost her trust when you left for an extended period of time and you will have to reestablish that trust by more or less starting from scratch, treat her as if you just got her and start earning her trust, realize it may take some time for things move slow in grey time. Don't take it personally when she wants to bite you as she is just reacting to the possibility that you may leave her again but time and patience will bring her around. Don't force her to do what she doesn't want to do for now, just interact with her and let her know you care and will be there for her but she will come to you when she feels she can trust you again. You can help by offering her treats and being there talking to her, soon she will want to be with you and she will come seeking you out but let it be her decision, you have to earn that trust and sometimes it can be a long and difficult process but well worth it when it happens. Good luck to you and keep us posted as to how it progresses with her. She is a lovely grey.
  8. I was lucky enough to choose not to have the band put on Josey but I have it in my possession.
  9. Happy 4th of July to all Americans, may you have a safe and happy celebration.
  10. Oh the stories she could tell, she has seen and experienced a lot in her lifetime and smart to boot, maybe that's where your smarts come from Penny.
  11. Its good you are a patient person for it will take time and it may take a year or years for him to learn to trust you for he has been passed around several times and he doesn't know this is the forever home, just remember to not push him for more than he is comfortable with at that moment.
  12. I believe there is a special place in hell for those who are cruel to animals, so glad Jorden had a happy ending.
  13. Hello Becky and welcome to our family, Peanut is cute as a button.
  14. I wouldn't, the only thing you should use is a harness and the best one is the Aviator, that metal chain could easily break the bird's leg if startled and he/she tried to fly away. If your grey won't wear a harness then the only way to take your bird outside for some fresh air is in a travel cage.
  15. Ray, has it been a year already, I think about her from time to time and know you miss her so much, she will never be forgotten.
  16. Some of us are all grey, so many shades of it.

  19. Yeah that was an easy one but cute.
