No problem Karla.. Everything is fine.. You see when photos are uploaded that are too big, over 500 pixels wide, they stretch the forum screen..

Nice Karla... I absolutely LOVE the one where your baby is spreading his wings like that... Very hard to get a photo like that and you nailed it.. One of your photos I had to remove because it was TOO LARGE.. Try and keep the photos at 500 pixels wide if you post them here.. Otherwise if you use a link they can be as big as you want them to...

Yes Luna.. Patience. At 4 months old your baby his really just starting to understand it's alive.. Also, it's important to know that Parrots are NOT like dogs.. A dog can learn "stay" in one day... A parrot on the other hand could take a year....

Melissa.. I can see you are having fun with that new lense.. 70-200mm at 2.8 is near pro quality.. You will be taking some seriously good photos now... This latest batch you posted are proof of that... Your camera feels way different with that new lense hung on the front doesn't it... People that see you now are thinking... Remember... most Greys don't really start talking until about 1 year old.. Do don't expect too much in that department now... Just give lots of love.. What diet do you have your baby on?

Welcome to the family.. It's good to have you and thanks for joining.. First things first.. African Greys are the most sort after parrots there are.. The African Grey wins every "best bird" poll ever done.. The Grey is the most intelligent of all parrots.. All thing being equal, I would much prefer a Grey over say an Amazon.. and I have had a Yellow Nape.. Greys need to be properly socialized.. Yes.. but once that's done you will have no problem with them. My boy..Ceasar is friendly with everyone in the family. Will go to anyone that comes in the house.. after a few minutes or course.. Don't scream, act bad, nasty or anything like that.. He is the best pet I have ever had... Just an absolute sweetheart.. I have NEVER once been bitten by him.... So that being said.. I think some of the negativity is from Jealousy. I am sure some of your family members here will chime in on this subject.. Don't worry, you purchased the best friend you will ever have..

Hi Monique.. I had a 6 foot Boa Constrictor when I was a teen... Fed it white rats.. Hated doing that.. and ended up giving the snake away because of it.. One time I got a white rat and fell in love with the rat.. True story.. I let the rat go and gave the snake away...
