  1. We often talk about morning light when taking photos.. and how this is the best time of the day.. Take a look at this shot of my dog Rocky.. See how warm the morning light is in this shot... Enjoy.. http://i166.photobucket.com/albums/u97/venuto/rocky_sweater_snow.jpg
  2. Yikes.. sorry to hear about this. Have you done this before or is this the first time? Something like this I would never do because I don't want to be viewed as the "bad guy" in the birds mind.. Let the vet be the bad guy know what I mean.... I am sure charlie will come around after the trama of all this wears off.. I wouldn't worry to much about it.. But DONT do that again.. Let the "bad guy" do that.. Know what I mean.. Thanks for joining our family.. We are happy to have you here... keep us posted on what happens with charile.
  3. "damsels in distress" don't even go there as this is my biggest weakness in the whole world... As far as being the "Chosen one" to rescue you.. Why don't you PM me on that one.....
  4. Did someone say they needed a salvage company... B) I just couldn't resist Talon's request...
  5. Yes, I agree with Judy.. All sounds normal. You can't compare your Grey with your Caique.. Although as your Grey ages he will be more active.. Just not as active as that Caique. What I have been seeing lately are breeders that are allowing their babies to go home in what I would consider too young an age.. Like Judy, I didn't get Ceasar home until he was 20 weeks and completely weaned. There is just so much that can go wrong when they are this young and in the hands of a non expert that it is really surprising that these breeders are pushing these babies out so soon... And I am not suggesting that you're doing anything wrong here...
  6. Hi Heather.. Like splint said.. Very nice shots.. I especially love the one of the dog.. Now if that shot is not a candidate for an enlargement I don't know what is.. Thanks for posting these..
  7. Richardsmommy.. I like it.. it looks like richard is ready to karate chop the viewer...
  8. GreyMiester. this link you post to Parrot Paradise... I go to this store as it's only about 1 hour away from me.. It is 30,000 square feet of parrot heaven... UNBELIEVABLE. Everything and anything right there under one roof.. The only problem with this store is when I go there I usually drop about $300 on toys..
  9. I am not entering these as I said as judge I wouldn't.. But these are funny.. It's ceasar trying to open the blinds like the "big people do" Ya gotta love these birds.. They are so smart... http://i166.photobucket.com/albums/u97/venuto/D2X_2493.jpg http://i166.photobucket.com/albums/u97/venuto/D2X_2488-1.jpg
  10. Thank you Mark.. If there is one lesson in Sammy's death it's "don't be careless with other life" and that's what I was...

Your side, their side, and the actual truth. I would like to see further discussions on this "incident" because if it turns out to be false i want you company and product to be given the respect it deserves.

  13. Hey there TexasGirl.. The problem for me with regards to Sammy is I CAUSED him to have a horrible, terrible death... One that I WILL NEVER forget as long as I walk this planet.. My stupidity allowed my dogs to KILL Sammy... The hurt I feel from this is hard to describe.. Sammy was the friendliest bird I ever met in my life.. All Sammy wanted to do in his whole life was to play and be with us.. that's all this poor thing wanted.. He was DEATHY afraid of my dogs.. I mean terrified just looking at them.. To think that this poor thing got killed by them makes me cry like baby... I don't give a sh*t if I am a man.. I'm crying now thinking of the terror that poor thing felt in his last moments.. God Damm me for this...
  14. Richardsmommy wrote: Yes indeed richardsmommy I agree with you 1000%.. I would NEVER do that to sny bird.. if you someone wants or needs to clip wings... it's both.. Not one..
  15. I love the shot of Brian looking at the window at that shed... Thanks for showing these to us...
  16. Tari... Don't give up.. I feel confident that you are gonna make that one capture you are waiting for... Always have your camera ready.. That's the trick..
  17. Welcome to Where Ever You Are.. Yes Beccy.. Thank GOD you survived that accident.. Otherwise we would be missing a beautiful, wonderful, caring, Loving, feeling part of our family... YOU. And for those that like those lyrics you can find them on the Have A Nice Day Album by none other then.... You guessed it.. BON JOVI... That boy can write songs..
  18. Birdgranna.. It is my pleasure to assist you my friend.. Thank you for taking me up on my offer to help you post these... Everyone's picture is bringing happiness to our family.. Yeah, there can only be one winner.. but aren't we all winners already? Just for sharing like we are.. I think we are... How do you guys feel?
  19. Thank you... for loving me... for being my eyes.... when I couldn't see..... for parting my lips... when I couldn't breathe... Thank you.. for loving me... Oh Talon.. What a song you pick.. I can hear it in my mind right now... and the part that just puts me over the tops is this.... If I were drowning you would cross the sea...... RISK your life just to rescue me...... This is what I mean by a touching song.. thanks for bring it to my mind again.. {Love-00020111}

    Poop

BG.. Do you have a scale yet.. I would start charting your baby's weight.. This is the best way to detect early when there might be health issues... I got my gram scale on ebay for like $19 bucks... Worth every penny...

    Poop

Hi there.. first off thanks for joining.. I hope you enjoy this place as much as I have... I think you should call the breeder and see if this is what is to be expected. Runny poop is not really a good sign but at this age and on that diet it may be normal.. If the breeder has him on this food he will know what is normal and what is not..
  22. I was gonna say that Spooky... and we still have almost a whole month before the contest ends...

  25. GREAT link Imran.. Thanks! I'm sure many of us will just love some of these videos...
