  1. Same here, I boil them. Then I either mash them or do a fine dice.
  2. I loved this one and couldn't resist posting!
  3. What great pictures! I can imagine your excitement, and can't wait to hear about her first day home
  4. We don't have a bird mart, but we do have a bird fair within driving distance about 3 times a year. Love them! I order so many things online, but there is no substitute for being able to see it in person.
  5. Love videos like this! Thanks for posting
  6. Wow, how many birds are in your flock?

    So sorry for your loss!
  8. Very nice pics! Nice refinish job on the chair there Echo. Think you missed a couple spots though
  9. Same as everyone else on the peanuts. Good luck with the pistachios. I guess I am the only one on the forum with a bird that doesn't like them! <sniff>
  10. LOL loved the pic! She looks so proud of herself...
  11. Hello and welcome! Excellent pics, thanks for posting
  12. Hello and welcome to you and your new grey! As others have said, the stickies have a lot of good information. Many of us are rehomers, so ask anything you want. There's an excellent chance someone on the forum will have experience with whatever situation arises. Good luck and God bless
  13. Funny! I can't imagine bullfrogs bothering someone. Of course I was raised in the country so maybe it is a city thang...
  14. Madi, it's hard to resist. However, when I realized how much attention Timber requires, not to mention the money for food, vet bills, toys, etc. I've managed to resist I'm not saying I will be able to hold out forever, but for now I'm standing strong! I've always had pets. I have four housecats now. However, a grey is a whole different prospect! The cats are much more independent. Timber is like a child. He wants all my attention all the time. You'll understand when you have your new baby. I have a great deal of respect for the multiple bird owners on the forum. As I said, I may have another myself one day. For now though, I'm content to focus on Timber, which is his preference too I believe.
  15. I used to ride bikes back in the day... my thought as I was watching these videos was what if the bird startled, started flapping, flew etc.? One slip and as Greywings said, done.
  16. Hello and welcome to the forum!
  17. LOL how cool is that! Thanks for sharing
  18. All of our birds are spoiled and you have a great setup there
  19. What a beautiful bird! Not spoiled at all either I see. Just sayin...
