  1. Hello and welcome to you and your baby! I have no experience with babies, I'm a rehomer, but others on the forum have experience and will answer your questions when they check the forum. Good luck and God bless
  2. What a relief! I was so glad to see your post. Keep us posted.
  3. Others have already addressed your question, but I wanted to say... what beautiful pics!
  4. Timber has many more periods of inactivity, just hanging around, than he does of activity. I assume it is normal (for him anyway). I suppose greys have temperaments like people in that some are more active and some less so? He will have bursts of activity, attacking a toy, hanging from the top of his cage and flapping for all he his worth etc., but most of the time he is chilling.
  5. Wow bluedawg that is a lot of stress! God bless. I will keep you and your mom in my prayers.
  6. Lovely pics, thanks for sharing!
  7. Sterling, Timber is most likely to talk when alone. Whether he is in his cage or not, he will chatter when I'm gone (spycam) or if I am in another room or upstairs. Since I talk to him when I'm in the room and often to hubby or others in his presence, I wonder if he is self-comforting when alone? Since his flock speaks in words does he talk to mimic having the flock around him? It's a puzzle.
  8. How exciting! Loved the pics and keep them coming
  9. I have two grown children Timber knows well and who know how to care for him. I feel blessed to be able to fall back on them. Karen
  10. So sorry to hear about your accident Nancy! Heal quickly and well. God bless
  11. Good job Dorian! As Sterling said, Timber won't do much to paper. Give him corrugated cardboard and he is in shred heaven. As they say, different strokes for different folks!
  12. Hello and welcome, Abz, to you and your baby! Looking forward to hearing more about your life together
  13. All vegetable pasta available at grocery! Mine has it with the other pastas. It is all different colors and spiral shaped.
  14. I have four house cats. There aren't any real problems, except that Timber tries to harass them. I have to say that you need to be constantly vigilant. Accidents happen so quickly. When my cats and Timber are in proximity to each other I watch them very closely, even after 3 years.
  15. Nice looking setup! No help with the pictures here, I struggle with them myself. Hope you can bring your baby home soon
  16. That's great! You are really making rapid progress toward your dream
  17. I never get tired of watching videos like this, thanks for posting!
  18. Hello and welcome reptoman I don't live in that area so can't help you there. In our area, there are some reputable breeders at the bird fairs etc. The best thing to do is do your research on the breeder. Sterling is a great resource for you. Have you considered a rehome instead of a baby? There are some great greys out there needing forever homes. Good luck and God bless!
  19. Great pics, thanks for sharing! One of Timber's eyes looks very similar to that, and has been like that since I got him. The vet told me "no worries."
  20. Hello and welcome to you and Isaac. Please post some pics and tell us more about your life together. I imagine you have some parrot stories yourself!
