  1. Hello and welcome! It sounds like you are making great progress with Charlie. Good luck and God bless
  2. Beautiful scenery and video, as always! Thanks for sharing...
  3. So sorry to hear about your loss and what a horrible thing to have hanging over your head with the others. God bless!
  4. LOL I'm surprised the cat didn't want to get in on the action! Loved the video, thanks for posting
  5. What great pics! Thanks for sharing
  6. Love the pic! That's great
  7. Timber is partial to pine nuts. Grey's are individuals that way, what one likes another may not. Nutriberries are a good treat (in my opinion) but for training I would think you would need something small. I know some use sunflower seeds.
  8. LOL Glad to hear I'm not the only one with a bird that numbers eating boxes among his favorite things to do!
  9. Excellent post. Thanks greywings!
  10. That's cause for celebration! Congratulations
  11. Isn't progress great though?
  12. I get them from facebook. Felix is a "friend" of mine on there.
  13. What a cool pic! That is priceless
  14. Woohoo! Another Thanksgiving miracle. Good luck to him and God bless
  15. LOL I'm just not that accommodating. I cook it the way I want it, they eat it if they choose to do so. That's the way I was raised, that's the way it will be at my house. Some how, they all manage to show up anyway! Not saying the wine isn't a good idea though
  16. What great news! Yet another thing to be thankful for this Thanksgiving
  17. I love baby pictures! What a sweetheart
  18. Yes, congratulations! I don't have anything to contribute since I haven't had a baby and a bird at the same time. I do know from grandkids that a grey quickly learns to cry like a baby! All I can really think of is be sure your bird still gets the attention he gets pre-baby. I've found they are jealous (at least Timber is).
  19. Yes I could if it wasn't 25 degrees outside, ha! I went ahead and did the HP in a crockpot and there were no ill effects. Since I mix the lye outside regardless of temp, there weren't any noticeable fumes coming from it when I brought it in. The cook stage didn't produce noticeable fumes either. I will need to be careful when I fragrance. So far so good though. Timber is his usual nosy self about what I am doing, but he doesn't seem to be affected by the process.
  20. Loved the video! Someone with more experience with teenagers (birds at least) will be along to help.
