  1. They are so funny with the noises. When the phone rings here, Timber says "heelllloooo." After about two minutes of conversation, he starts saying "OK, bye."
  2. What a pretty baby! Thanks for the pics and keep them coming.
  3. Congratulations! Also looking forward to baby pics.
  4. He looks like such a sweetheart! Thanks for the pics, enjoyed them
  5. I am sorry to hear this too. As Wingy said, divorce is never easy for all involved. I don't have experience with this exactly, but when my son (and one of Timber's favorites) went away to college it didn't seem to have a big effect on Timber. When Dakota comes home, Timber acts just like he always did toward him. I'm sure he wondered where Dakota was, but it didn't affect his health or behavior. Good luck!
  6. Thanks for the update! Glad to hear things are going so well for you and Romeo. Personally, I think they acclimate or adapt to their environment and new flock. That seems to be what Timber has done at any rate. I've had him about 14 months now. He has developed a slightly different relationship with each person/animal in the house.
  7. Thanks for the update Nancy, I know I was wondering and I imagine others were too. So sorry to hear you haven't found Kiki! Don't give up hope.
  8. LOL! Sorry but I had to laugh. Too old for triplets too so I should be safe Guess this is a case of be careful what you ask for! I'm very interested to see what Gilbert does next.
  9. That is the exact cage I have for Timber. It took several months for him to be ready to make the switch. Hope Sukei makes the adjustment faster than that! Now that Timber has moved into the larger cage, he loves it.
  10. Glad to hear Pearl is OK medically! There are lots of threads here on plucking. Hope the behavior modification class is helpful!
  11. Timber loves boxes and usually has one in the bottom of his cage. It sometimes sounds like he is trying to dig to China, but he seems to enjoy it!
  12. That is sweet! That's the kind of moment that makes all the other stuff we go through worth it
  13. Can't get there through that link.
  14. Dave, you and Dan are just asking for it!
  15. That was so neat! Thanks for sharing
  16. I have no answers because I have no experience with egg laying. Someone will come along with advice though!
  17. Happy Hatchday Gracie! And many more
  18. For all of you with a velcrobird, thought this was funny!
  19. Wow that is so cool! I really admire your willingness to take those babies on, and your big heart
  20. Bats are interesting creatures (to me anyway). Hope he makes it!
  21. Here's an info sheet for anyone who is better at this stuff than me! http://npic.orst.edu/factsheets/imidacloprid.pdf
  22. Okay, I know we have talked about the pesticide issue several times but here we go again! We have to have termite treatment on the house. They will be spraying around the perimeter of the house (outside) and in the ground but not in the house. They are using Premise 75. The bug man says Timber will be safe because they aren't spraying in the house and the toxicity isn't high in any case. I've looked online and it seems what he says is probably true. Any thoughts, opinions, or facts I've missed? Thanks!
