Like Dan said, your the chosen one to your Grey. I like to think of it as a ladder and your up on the top rung. That is why you get the snuggles and cuddles and such. Other people will always be on the rungs below you in order of acceptance. I would say your Mother is a rung below you and will always be so.

Mine is too young for any great stories just yet but she has started showing a rambunctious personality already. She shreds her paper towels in the bottom of the brooder and tries to dig her way out when she knows I am in the room. She is also starting to toss her toys around.... including her stuffed cow which is the same size she is.

Looks like a great cage! Good choice in my opinion

I just pulled another clutch of Tiel babies. I can definitely see their father's influence in the one pictured in the upper left. They are 2 - 2 1/2 weeks old here.

I like Roudybush pellets the most, mini for when they are little and small for when they are grown. But everyone has their own personal opinion when it comes to pellet brands and such.

My lil baby TAG has a dark beak, so it is quite possible it lightens with age.

I am in no way an expert when it comes to baby Greys but at 7 weeks I would have pellets and small chunks of veggies and such in there for him to nibble on. Most of it will only be played with and soiled but it is a good learning experience. My baby who is about 1/2 a week younger than yours already rolls a ball around her tank, so I would suggest you putting a couple things in there for him to play with such as a cockatiel ball, medium sized wooden bead, etc. Every 3 hours feeding seems a bit much to me. My girl is on 4 feeds a day. Some would say she should be on 5 feeds a day but she simply won't eat that often and seems to be doing well on 4. Try increasing the amount fed at each feed and spacing the feeds out a bit more. Depending on your Grey's feathering and the ambient temperature of the room your keeping him/her in, your grey should be ready to be moved into a cage in about a week. Maybe someone more experienced in Greys will come along and give you better info. Like I said, I am no expert in baby Greys.
