Ok thanks judy..i wasnt sure about the pellits and seed thing. they are in bed now and ill start taking seeds out before bed tomorrow night and i need to put in diff. bowls also. i so do agree with you and jayd.ive tryed to talk to her but she is head on taking her grey...i will pass this along to her. also when are they out of the asprited stage??that really scares me..

Thats scarry...i will pass it along.When i feed jackson,when i first feed jackson he eats real good then after 20cc he acts like he dont want it nomore then I feel his mouth full bc he spits half of it out on me.maybe i shouldnt do that I think im feeding him wroung...I just try to make sure i get as much as i can down him..i dont let his ppl food stay out that long and ill start taking up there food at night.Ill jackson more pellits then aseeds bc his going to be on pellits.i dontlike him eatting alot of seeds bc he want eat the pellits.he like sunflower seeds and the shell pnuts.

ok,understand.Jackson dont climb on the outside of his cage yet.should he be?i didnt put no porches in his cage but i did put a box chewy hanging toy in early today and his play with it all afternoon. i hate to take it away.yes they are still climby. Im sorry but ive not been puting a blanket in the cage till bed time.which they know when its coming in the door of the cage they get on it for bed. Yes i agree with the food. i only gave them that one day to see if they would like it as a treat.I give them pellits and seeds together and i offer ppl food also. not sure what the other mommy is going to feed cricket. i asked last night but she didnt know. most likly seeds.i dont want jackson on seeds alone.should i give two bowls in now?one with seeds and the other pellits?i want jackson to eat more pellits.also,i give them a tiny bite a p.butter in there form. jackson wouldnt eat his form but maybe 30cc but now when i put p.butter in it he eats it much better. also when can i offer a outside porch to sit on???jackson still is scared to be outside of his cage..i dont want him to be cage territorial. and the other mommy told me today that she will be taken her grey home next week...i tryed to talk her out of it but nope.so, i told her i would write down everything about her...i know she shouldnt take her but it is her grey...im going to miss her so much....its like losen my baby..im so sad about the idea..

can i add some more toys and porches???They both ate real good this morning.

the twins are doing good....Jackson eat great this morning but not so good tonite.35cc or so. I give try to make him eat more but he just want. he spits it out or he will climb into the back of the cage. cricket always eats good. ppl food and form.i have had the men back fixing my porch using hammers and tools that really upset them tonite. Jackson got real upset with the new noises from out side,maybe that why he didnt eat much. i held him along time after they left but who knows with jackson. he has a mind of his on.Maybe he will eat in the morn better.cricket mommy came tonite to play with her, shes not been over in a week.which im glad she came over.sorry ive not posted much but this week has been crazy and will be till school is out on next tuesday, busy time...thanks for the great post and all the help

The twins are doing real good.Sorry to say Ive been so busy these past few day that Ive not got to play with the much. My son Isaac has had lots to do at school these last days of the year Band, AP TEST and clubs dinners. ect....They are climbing and playing and eatting carrot,peppers,and noodles and I gave them some beak appetit. which they liked.Jayd post few new pics the other day of them. also we have named them Jackson is mine and his the bigger grey and cricket is the smaller grey.Thanks again...:rolleyes:

OK i will try to get jackson to eat as much as i can.his is so hard headed..lol..cricket is still eat like norm. but she is a little younger then jackson.THE TWINS ARE GROWING UP....WE HAVE NAMES,THE SMALLER GREY IS CRICKET AND THE BIGGER GREY IS JACKSON. JACKSON IS MY GREY.

yes, this morning jackson (bigger grey) didnt want to eat. he wanted out tp play and flap his wings. He only eat half of what he norm eats. he spits and sling his head and form. goes everywhere.The smallewr grey still eats good 60cc this morn.ok ill make sure to get him to eat 60 cc a feeding.and yes they are losing the butt and trim down.should they try to fly this week??they will be 11 weeks

Thanks Jayd..they are growing so much.That was this morning playing. now, they are having there snack which they love.Later, i want to take them outside for a little while.nice day today not to hot.

I agree with both of you about her taking her grey home and ill try everyway poss. to keep her but she made it clear in a few weeks she wanted to take er home and she said she will hand feed her also.Judy i told her she can still bond with her after she takes her home.but when she comes over here she see how the fellow me around and play with me not her.I also agree that my cage is small but jackson will be out 90% of the time and im still going to find him a new cage at the bird show in oct. They both seem more happy since i moved them out of the smaller cages. they are playing more and eatting the same not less.there poop is still good. i put blankets on the bottom of there cage floor at night so i get nice good poop in the morn. on there blanket to watch over. nice a green wormy looking.they are climbing more and stay a wake longer in the day.my babys are growing up so fast. these past few weeks how been such a joy and learning time.i love them both but jackson cought my eye.thanks for all your help and please keep giving more info. i love to read and look forward to see whats next with them.

Thanks,I talked to the other mommy and she wants to take her grey home ina few weeks...I told her she will still be hand feed but she said she can do it that she wants to bond witrh her grey. I really dont think the smaller grey will be ready but it is her grey and she has paid for her...I just didnt say much about it.So, i have a few weeks to make sure the smaller one will be ready...

What should i do with there food dishes?ill take everything out but what about toys?how far from the bottom should i ahve the proches?ok im a little nervus,my baby is growing up....

I sent u a email and pic of the cage im putting jackson in. Tell me what i should take out or move around...Tell how to make it safe for him. The porches are dogwood brenches and a ladder.

Good morning The babys are doing good. They are bal. on one foot eatting and there eatting about 60 cc in the morn. not that much at night.I will say they have out grown there cages. When can I put the bigger one his cage? the smaller one can only walk ina cir. bc the cage is small for her also. they are climbing but they are still clumzy(sp)What do u think??

Sorry that ive not been on for a up date. the twins are doing great.I want be on tonite till late bc I have hada close friend die and Ill be at the veiwing tonite.Didnt send much time with them today,been with the family all day.Thanks

last nite feeding was ok but this morning was better.last nite was around 40cc this morn. is 60cc. but they dont always eat as good at nite.They had carrots and seeds treats while they was at playing bc they dont get along so i keep there beak busy with somethibg to do.they are busy little bees.

has anyone used BEAK APPETIT. i thought about giving to my baby greys. something diff.

i have a dog carrier..i was scared of there wings getting cought in the door way...are they ok with the weight?

ok just got back from the vet..the twins weigh...bigger grey is 570g. and the smaller grey 580g..or 1.25lb or 1.27lb. they done real good in the car.i put them in a clothes basket bc i havent got a carrier cage yet.does this sound ok?
