Im so sorry...but everyone is right to say he is flying free with no pain and suffer anymore.you are in my thoughts and prayers...

This is so sad and heartbreaking.Ive been reading all thepost and keeping up with billie.I hate to think his suffering...My heart just breaks over him.Im sorry to you mum and billie and to you.Ill keep in and ur family in my prayers.Ive been thinking of him since i read the first post. please keep us informed....This forum is more then a forum.. we are all family....

That is the sweetest thing ive seen besides my jackson lol....He is so cute and the butter ball butt is the best. i remember when jackson had no feathers on his butt..lol

ok jackson has beak me really hard where my arm is blue.ive tryed to get the stick but he hates it more..he want go bakcinto his cage without beaking me and this time he jump off his cage went to pick him up and he crab my arm with his beak and squeeze my arm really hard.. i just dont know what to do anymore....its getting out of hand...

hi there send me ur email and ill send pics..it was so easy to make...get a cat littler box with a top and cut a hole in the back of the top for a small lite bulb and extension cord to be plug in. the warm from the light is great for them.u can get the lite for the back at lowes ans the bulb is a small one...thanks tanyab

hello, I also got a baby grey but mine i 20weeks today but i got 2 greys at 7week and this forum was great to me with lots of info. jayd was great with 24/7 help.I was so lost and over my head with not knowing what to do with these to wonderful greys.i only have one now. his name is jackson and my other went to her new home weeks ago. jackson is healthy and into everything...you will see so many changes in ur grey so fast before you know it your grey will be playing and talking...i made a breeder box out of a cat litter box and put a buld light in to keep my greys warm when i was gone or couldnt hold them.if you would like i can send a pic for u to see how i made it.very easy. it keep them warm.if there anything i can do to help just ask...welcome to the forum..Tanya

ok Me and Jackson is going around and round when it is time to go back into his cage.Ive tryed treats and talk sweet but nope he runs to the other side of his cage and will try to beak me hard. not biting but putting his beak on me real hard to let me know he means bus.when he was younger he would step up and go into his cage fine. but now his older 20weeks tomorrow he will not go into his cage .i have to pull his toes off of what ever they are around tight. i pull him and he beaks me..what to do???other then that his perfect..

Hello,Ive not been on line in a few weeks...but I thought I would drop a line to say Hello and that Jackson is doing good.Im still handfeeding at night and he eats about 65cc plus his i stop when he stops eatting. Hes eatting more veg and peppers.He takes a shower with me 3 times a week and loves it.HHes making lots of new nosies and trying to talk but no words yet still to young. but his learning what sounds are.He likes to chew on wood toy and like his feettoys also.He seems to be a happy grey.I love my baby grey jackson. he has be so wrap around his little finger....

no im not doing it.a family member came and got all the birds and took them home with her..i told her if it gets to hard to care for them to call me and ill try to help..thanks for in the info..

yes my friend called asking if i had the time to handfeed a cocktail.she is 1 month old and on two feeding. the mommy of this bird has gone in the hosp.and cant feed it anymore.So, i was ask if i could take care of it while she is in the hosp then she would want it back when she gets out of the hosp. so, i said yes. sometimes i get myself in to the biggest messes but i didnt want anything to happen to it.so, how much and how long ect ect.. on handfeeding this little baby.....and will jackson be ok with a new baby in the house. i still handfeed him at night.i need help...thanks...

Jayd said many would like to know how things are..Jackson is great.Im still handfeeding at night and he eats about 60ish cc. He still offering vrg and fruits still not sure about them but will beak at them.We had new family over last nite and Jackson made the loudest noise and The look on his face was a look Ive never seen. He didnt know her so she scared him coming in the house first.After i told him it was ok he was better but still didnt want to be touched by her.Hes playing and eat pellits and seeds.I know put him in the shower with me 2 or 3 times a week now and he loves it.I love him very much and couldnt see my life without him ever. About cricket really dont know much.I havnt talk to crickets mom in a few weeks but I think shes not handfeeding at all. she said cricket doesnt want it.But she doing ok last i heard.Thanks for asking and caring for us.....

This morning i didnt give jackson forumal bc his not been eatting in the morn.so, i made us boild egg,toast,straewberries,bluebirries and grits..he eat so good but the grits was his fav.i made the becan insent but no bacon for him...he loved it...his growing so much...

well, its been a while now and hes been in the water playing..he seems to like which im so glad.now he is preening...

i put a bowl of water on top of his cage and put toys in it and i would drop a little water on him and he would make money sounds..but he seems not sure about it still.he just watchs me play in it...lol.

thank you..i know his a bird and i expect him to be a bird...but his also a baby bird and i just didnt know that he could fly like this at this age....13weeks.and my house is as bird safe as i can get it....

ok jackson is flying everywhere...i was eatting dinner in the living room and left him out on the top of his cage..his cage is in the middle wall of the kitchen and the living room. my kit and livingroom is one big room.his started to fly and on toip of the stove he went. landed on a pan and thank god it was cooled off or he would have been burned.i was so scared..so, i turned the couch around to make two rooms and try to block him going to the kit and moved him into the other side of the living room...is he going to fly like this all the time???he is everywere???help

hi there jayd its 7:00 and jackson crop looks empty.he eats again around 9 or 10.you wanted me tolet u know. do u want apic of him??hes playing on top of his cage having such a good time.he likes to play and chew on things...

good morning.. well. not sure why she fell and no shes not taking her to the vet.she says shes fine...im to the piont that im ready to wash my hands of her about cricket bc she will do what she wants with ehr and im just wasting my breath with her...i hate to sound mean about it but i tell her things and it gets me nowhere. she thinks that cricket is weaning her self from her am feedings and that shes fine.ok i will watch jackson today with his crop to see how long it takes to empty....i do thank you so much for all ur help..jackson is doing good..

ok sorry i just saw post #12..like i said i went over ther today and i feed her and i feed her last night. she ate great last night but she ate ok tonite..she has been playing some beaking at a few toys but sitting and watching everyone as they pass her cagee. that when i am there.i posted #11 about what i found out today with her falling.omg im just lost for words anymore..

thanks jayd..i dont remmber how long it was..its seems like a few hours maybe bc i was working on his cage after i feed him..is every thing ok with him ???he is a pretty thing. i love him so much..but he wants to beak me all the time....jackson is doing good and is making lots of diff. nioses..which i love to hear. he seems happy.. about cricket she fall from the top today...she let go and fell from the top to bottom. i was gone out of town for the day and when i got back she called and i went to fed her and she told me as i was feeding her.she seemed ok but i was madd that she didnt take it more serious then she did. i feed her some and then i just went home...her cage is flat like mine but i just dont know about her cricket.i mean shes so much smaller then jackson. the other mommy said today how better jackson looks then hers.she went to get the oatmeal and no cricket want eat that or the beak appet.i just dont know what else to do anymore..
