Hello Pugman, I also have a mistrated ag that I have had for about 5mths.When I first brought her home.I didnt do anything but Talk to her and just let her sit on her porch.I didnt think she would ever come off or even have anything to do with me.I moved on her speed and it was no time she would come to the cage door.I can say building trust is hard but it has took time and its a everyday thing.Phoebe comes out and plays ball and will give a kiss.She still is unsure about things but doing great.Just give her time.

Dave I just cryed.Having rescue ag myself.Going through the ups and downs with her.At the end of the day I just could not see my life with out her....

Dave that just makes me want to cry.. To have a rescue ag myself.I really feel so lucky that she picked me.

phoebe plucks and if anyone can help me that would be great..Shes been to the vet and shes healthy..Shes doing some better but now shes working on her tail.She dont play much w toys and shes been in a negect home before me.I could not touch her before and now I can rub her head and sometimes her wings.Ive had her for 4 months.Shes 5 years old..She also has a broken wing which happened before I got her.Shes come such along way and I wish i could help her over come this for her..Thanks

Phoebe loves ice water. Today was a very hot day. I thought that maybe her water was warm so I put ice in it to cool it off. She played and played.Water was everywhere.She just seemed like it. She had a great time.I think Ill do this as a treat.

I have a 5year old ag.Ive had her for 3months.When I leave sometimes she squeels also.I tell her Ill be back but she still squeels.Shes seems to be doing better when I tell her Ill be back.She only does it when I leave out the door..

Hello.I just got my first ag about 5 weeks ago. at a bird show. I felt so bad for her sitting alone and scared to death. shes around 5 years old. The owner before me dont know much about her.Her owner died a year ago and shes been in about 3 to4 homes before me.Shes very sweet but she wont let me touch her anywhere but the top of her head. which is nacked also. she will bite me.she has pluck before me and now she has started again a week ago. she has no feathers on her chest.ive tryed the aloe spray but not working.I need help...plucking and how can i build more trust with her....

Can anyone help me???my ag has now pluck her chest and working on her legs.Ive tryed the aloevera spray hasnt worked.She has toys and chew toys..When I got her she has plucked before due to her owner dieing and being in 3 homes before me..I need help
