  8. Hello again.Im not a newby but not been on a long time.I had a ag named phoebe who was a plucker and was very loud.MY landlord made me give her away bc of my neighbors was fussing about her.Two things has happened. My neighbors have said how sorry they are for fussing over phoebe bc they have a dog that barks all day and the other is phoebe is a boy and is becoming a sweet daddy. His plucking has gotten better. I gave him to a wonderful lady who has a girl af and knows alot about them.I miss him so much.It was so hard to do to give him up.I cryed for days .The neighbors and I have talked and I would like to find a baby af or young ag to get. They said they was so sorry for saying anything to the landlord over phoebe, they would help or try to make things good again.I get to talk to joann(phoebe new mom) about phoebe all the time so Im still apart of his life.I took phoebe not knowing anything about ag, I saved his life from a bad home.I got him better and now he is doing great. Im taking it slow looking for another ag....Thanks Tanya
  9. How funny...we all done crazy things like that.
  10. You could never be a bad mommy..You have always been on top of your game for me and phoebe. Thanks so much for helping me a month ago with phoebe. you was a life saver.:cheer:
  11. IM SORRY to say I had to pull both of the blood feathers on phoebe. They started to bleed and I was scared that she would chew on them more and They would bleed more and I woulnt be home to help her.Just dont know that to do with her..she did start to play and chew on my blocks she had in her cage for 6 months.Maybe that will keep herr busy....
  12. THATS GREAT Judy.Im so glad for you and your new baby.Let me know how things go. Im so excited for you..Tanya
  13. Once again I have a question..What happens to a blood feather?Does it fall out if not pulled? If there dry blood at the tip what happens to it??Was it a big feather at first? The vet told me to crush it?Dont know why?Im sorry I keep asking about the feathers or plucking.Just like to know. Thanks
  14. well, her ears and nares are clear. maybe its a feather like judy said.just wondering. Thanks
  15. I was just wondering why phoebe shakes her head "no" all the time. Should I be concern??Sometimes I can see the diff. between cooing NO or shaking her head. Thanks Tanya
  16. Thank you so much for your concerns about phoebe. shes doing fine now. mad at me but much better...
  17. Hello, Its out but she screemed this time real bad but not much blood.Im so glad of that.Im going to go watch her now.talk later.
  18. Here I go again.pulling a blood feather from her tail.No matter what Ive done she will pluck and chew.Wish me luck on getting all the feather out.Tanya
  19. I changed phoebes name. Her name was krank but I wanted a girl name and she knows her name now.so, you can change it.I just said it too her all the time.I put her name first when I talked to her.
  20. Bringing home a older grey is hard but like Judy said give him some time. Its hard to be patient but at the end it will be such a joy. He will come around just work on HIS time. When I brought phoebe home she sat on her porch for 2weeks before even trying to act like she wanted to come closer to me. Now,we are friends but still working on trust.
  21. Love the toys.Phoebe would like it also.Where did you get it???Plus your baby is so sweet looking.
  22. love the pics.beautiful place:laugh:
  23. I have heard about this and it ALFUL..I just dont understand why people can be so mean to innocent animals.
