What a real bummer:( Lot's of luck with the breeder but if they are reasonable they will foot the vet bill as well as the medication bill. I wonder if he got it while mucking around in his feces somehow. Baby parrots tend to do that alot especially if they are grouped with other babies and cross contamination occurs too during feedings. It's a wonder that it wasn't detected earlier. E-coli bacteria is really not fun to have and can even be fatal.
