AWW how precious is that sleepy picture! Both are great pictures of Omar! It sounds like he is doing great. Don't worry he will get use to all the city noises and yes he will pick up all the sounds he hears lol.

Thank you Dave, your information helped me a lot! Ecko just loves RPO and would lick it from the jar if I let him. He does not like his pellets much so I think I just found the solution for him to eat his pellets. I should of known lol. Thank you sooo much. Karma for you!

I'm glad everything looked ok on Harley besides the underweight. Thats crazy how he weighs 673g and thats considered underweight, that just shows how big those birds really are. I am sure you can fix that problem though, you are a great parront. I hope the tests all come back good on Friday. Don't worry everything will be fine. Greys do preen themselves a lot so this is all normal. He is eating a lot and thats great too. He is probably very sleepy from all the traveling. Can't wait to see some pictures.

I read a couple of them and they sound fun. I do the "Birdie Basket" with Ecko, he loves to sit on his basket and pick out the foot toys and play. I also play with him on the floor with a ball and he hops around and chases after it, sometimes growls at the ball too lol.

I think you should use all kinds of colors for your toys -red, blue, yellow, orange, green etc. Make them bright and full of excitement so the bird is interested in it. I would be cautious on using paints though, it could be toxic to the birds. I would love to see some of the toys that you made, we have a "Homemade toys and playstands" room if you want to share some pictures and ideas with us.

Annabella is so pretty and I love all of the pictures of her. They are so very clear. She looks like she is having a lot of fun with those toys and that book too lol. Thanks for sharing with us.

Congrats on your new pair babygirl! I think you are doing a wonderful thing giving these birds a loving home as pets and not breeders. You sound very caring and I bet you will do a great job. I hope to see some pictures of Francois and Andorra soon and hear more about them as you get to know them.

So I went to the Bird Fair yesterday and I went crazy shopping lol. I bought a lot of cool new toys for Ecko and Slater. Ecko is terrified of ALL of them! He won't go near them. I got a new foraging toy and put some food in it and set it on the table. He eventually flew over to it and started picking out the food, but when I hung it up in his cage, he HATED it! Oh dear do I have some work cut out for me haha. He is even scared of a little foot toy! Goodness what happened to my big brave baby? Oh well it will take some time. :laugh: And then I fell in love with this baby Timneh! I wanted her sooooo bad, she was sooo sweet! I can't stop thinking about her now and it sucks that I couldn't get her! If I had the money she would of been mine. :dry:
