Thats great Pat!! You got them for a really great price, thats awesome!! Ecko also likes to empty it very fast instead of eat it so I put a bowl at the bottom and the foods fall right in it. Thats wonderful that your birds liked their new foraging toy Pat and Lee! I also tried this with Ecko and he doesn't know how to get the treats out lol. I just put it in yesterday so maybe he will find them soon haha.

This means she is refusing it. Yes try again the next night and the night after that. If she keeps refusing less and less until there is no more she wants then she will be weaned. Make sure to weigh her to see if she loses any weight. Maybe try oatmeal as a comfort food after she stops the formula, some greys love it and some hate it.

Aw I bet you will miss him very much! I'm sending some positive thoughts your way! One of my really good friends is doing the same thing! She said she has to do boot camp in NJ too, so she might be going to the same place. She took the test last week so I don't know when she will be going but I know its soon. Everyone has given you great advice African, just about the same thing I told you. I hope you think long and hard about this decision because it will be a lifelong decision with a lot of responsibilities! Your only 15 years old so I'm not sure you will be willing to take in all the responsibilities of owning a grey. It's great that you came here for advice before you rushed into getting a grey. I hope to hear from you again whatever you decide.

Aww thank you all for your nice comments. Jen - OMG YES!! Ecko LOVES to eat the popcorn ceiling!! He will do it everytime I turn my back on him. And when I see him doing it I tell him NO and he always scoots down the boing like he was doing nothing wrong haha! Does anyone know if thats going to make him sick? He just loves to pick at the ceiling!:evil: Storm - Thank you! I just have a Samsung digital camera and it has a setting on there for objects in motion, its called countershake or something. I just aim and shoot and the camera does the rest hehe.
