Hi Kookie doesnt like showers or bath, but I mist him twice a week and he loves it. As for the cage, ive never smelled anything. I have news paper bellow the grat in his cage that I change one or twice a day. Check if there is any rotten food at the bottom of the cage. In case it was the poop smelling, then Id rather you take Mika to the vet to be checked for any intestinal problems. I wouldnt use any airfreshners especially chemical ones cos you never know what poisonous substances it might contain. Just air the room well, it will do it. {Nature-00020095}{Nature-00020095}

Dave the saver...thanks for the info I have a question for you: My Bird Kookie looses a feather or 2 every other day, mostly small feathers but once in a while a bigger feather.New ones are growing as I can feel them when I scratch him. Hi Devilangel, Just be patient, and give your parrot some time to get used to you. Soon you will get to know what he likes and what would make a good treat. Kookie my grey loves almonds & peanuts and sunflower seeds. I use sunflower seeds when Ik trying to teach him something , and almonds when I wanna really reward him. You will get to understand your grey. As for the playstand, just give him some time, put it somewhere he can see it, so he get used to it. If he likes any toys, just hang the toys on the stand. Hi I took the seed from him after a small run and hide, but he seems doing quite fine today, pooping fine and more naughty than ever. The only thing is that as he was eating his corn on the cob, he seemed a little crazy attacking the corn and rubbing his while face on it...LOL

Hi Everyone I was sharing some mangos with Kookie, and he stole the seed and started eating the mango of it, I didnt pay attention to him while he was busy eating but then I noticed him digging inside the seed and eating the white stuff inside of it. Do I need to be worried? Cos he seemed very happy to eat it and it was almost impossible taking it away from him Any help??? {Nature-00020095}
