I only have two pets, a 7 1/2 year old pug, I have had since she was 2 months, and Ana Grey, almost 5 months, that I have had for 3 weeks. They are still getting to know each other so basically they just tolerate each other at this point. I am hoping they will eventually be good friends.

Hi cazy62 glad you decided to be part of the family. I haven't been a grey owner long enough to not find everything my Ana Grey does as great. But when I leave a room she calls after me. I just call back and she quiets down. It's like she just wants to know I'm around. Ana likes foot toys so I always make sure she has oodles around. Some are just plastic bottle caps and empty paper rolls, she just keeps herself busy with them. If you have anymore pictures of Holly, we would love to see them. Welcome to the family.

I have had Lily, my pug, since she was 2 months old, she is now 7 1/2 years. She and I are together most of the time. Ana Grey, almost 5 months, I have had for three weeks. Ana's breeder had 2 small dogs so she was use to dogs, in fact could yelp like a small dog when I first brought her home. If Ana Grey lands on the floor Lily will bark to let me know Ana is on the floor, she use to run to Ana but since I always said "no you leave her alone" she no longer runs to her just barks. If Ana lands on Lily's bed, Lily ignores her, I immediately remove Ana and tell her "no, Ana leave Lily along". Not because I am afraid for Ana, but because I am afraid for Lily. Lily has huge eyes and if Ana should bite at one of her eyes, well we won't go there. If I am going to leave the room I put Ana back in her cage, after all they are both still animals and I am responsible for both of their wellbeings. They are equally reprimanded for invading the other's space. When family are over, both pets are equally fawned over because it would be easy for Lily to become jealous and I know her well enough to be very aware of this. I hope this helps.

Nora, Hootie is a very happy looking grey. I always like the pictures you take of him. He certainly is a ham!!! Thanks for sharing this handsome guy with us.

Empera, Zeus is gorgeous. You must be so excited!!! Thanks for sharing these great pictures. Can't wait to hear more about Zeus!! Don't be worried, if you have any questions, just ask. Everyone is here for you! Ana prefers to step up on my wrist, I believe she feels more steady there and therefore does not use her beak to grab on. If it works for her it works for me, we are a team. Have fun with your new baby, and please keep us posted.

After a week of more snow than ever seen in the Portland/Vancouver area (records go back to 1924) I finally ventured out. Along with necessary food staples, I picked up a pomegranate for Ana Grey which she has been devouring for the last hour. At $2.50 a pop, she better enjoy it!!!
