Tell us a little more about your grey and your experience as a grey owner. Perhaps then some of our more experienced grey owners can better advise you.
Hi Shah, please tell us more about your grey. What is his name, how old is he and how long have you had him? We are a nosey bunch so we need details, lots of details and, of course, pictures if you have any you would like to share with us. Welcome to the family.
Thank you Lisa for sharing your grey history with us. I can't wait to hear more and see some pictures of your wonderful greys and the rest of your fids. What other birds so you have?
Have tried PMing one of the administrators to straighten out your username problem? Glad you didn't give up!!! Can't wait to see some pictures of your new puppy and Malibu. What did you name your puppy?
The attached site talks about galvanized wire for aviaries. The pros and cons of welding before and after galvanizing. Perhaps it will help.

Mike, so glad Kenworth is much better. I have hardwood floors and my heart stops every time Ana Grey leaps from the top of her cage. I can't wait until she is fully flighted and apparently, neither can she.!!! Would love to see some pictures of Kenworth if you have any you would like to share.
I am reading a book called "The Parrot Who Owns Me," the story of a relationship. The writer is a well-known ornithologist, Dr. Joanna Burger. She has written several books on avian behavior. According to the book, this is a sign of affection and apparently birds also like toes!! So if you are ticklish, keep your shoes on!!!
This is a great story BarbPA, Keena is very, very smart. If you have any pictures, we would love to see this great escape artist!!

Post edited by: luvparrots, at: 2009/01/07 22:48

Hi Deb, welcome to you and Bob. Jr. sounds like a very special grey. I can't wait to hear more about her. I hope you decide to re-home the young male grey, does he have a name yet? As others have said there is alot of information here from members who have several greys or a variety of birds, their posts can be helpful when integrating these two greys. If you have any pictures, we would love to see Jr.
