2. Hi, I am moving to manchester and we will be living in a converted mill (plenty of high ceilings for indy!). However there is only electrical heating (which is costly!!) I am looking for heaters for my living room which are bird safe and non-toxic. Any suggestions welcome, we are looking into halogen heaters at the mo because they are energy efficient. Thanks Nims

 4. Hi, I have now decided to move to manchester with my husband and thought now is a good time as any to get a new bird. Indy seems to be really taken with my husband and I would like a companion. She is happy with me but will chose dave over me any day! So I have decided to get me another feathered friend. I am looking at Timnehs and cockatoos at the mo and am open to suggestions. Any advice welcome! Thanks Nims

 16. When I worked I used to put Indy to sleep around 10pm and she would be woken up at 7.30am. She would also nap in between when me and my hubby were at work. Now that I dont work Indy is up a bit later 11pm and I uncover her at 10am. Never had a gumpy bird yet. Nims
 17. Hi Baxtersmom, I would suggest putting Tiggers perches closer to the base of the cage and then should he fall it would only be a short fall. This may take some rearranging in the cage but you have the right idea by putting the towel on the floor. Hope Tigger bounces back (sounds like he did ) Nims

Post edited by: nims, at: 2008/09/21 11:07
