I'm not sure where to ask this and maybe there are other threads, but I didn't find them. Have any of you made special disaster plans for your Greys and other companions? Do you have kits? How do you store your supplies? Are there shelters where you AND your babies can be together? I haven't found much for birds on line.

I thought I might be opening my mouth too much and maybe I am. I feel comfortable with all of you or I wouldn't write. I surely do enjoy reading. !f you could all see how much I smile, actually laugh, at many of the great things you say you would know how worthwhile it is.
Glad you're OK! Precious usually drinks the juice from blueberries and grapes and may/may not eat the fruit.

Precious slides down and looks for me usually when i have gone into the bathroom. My concern is she will get stepped on because she is absolutely silent. She is so small on the floor!! Yes, I am very careful and look to see if she has followed! And I keep the lid down!!
 :silly:
Is the squash a soft skinned summer type? If so Malibu might eat it if it is cut into smallish chunks. The chunks can be lightly steamed also, served warm. If it is a hard sqush it can be cut in two or chunked, then baked or steamed. My understanding is all three of the peppers are all right but LoveMyGreys is the real authority as is Judy.B)
I suppose a lot depends on the quality of your water before the need to add chlorine, but I personally do not use our tap water without filtering it first. The owners of Parrots Naturally use reverse osmosis to purify their water. If in doubt you can buy purifed water for your Grey during the month. A few gallons should suffice.
