Well, Sunshine said she was a senior, but I didn't find her age. And Judy you said you thought I was about your age. Not exactly. I'll never see 70 again. It's number 81 in September.:silly:   :cheer:
Wish I knew. Everything I've been reading of late puts a lot of emphasis on the Grey's diet, especially calcium and beta carotene, in preventing or contributing to these problems. Is there any possibility of mites that could be making him itch? Are you using aloe vera spray to help relieve dry skin and itch? Good luck!
Try olive oil, canola or other cooking oil rubbed very gently from the shaft to the tip. Then wipe with a soft tissue. I wouldn't try soap or water.
You all have wonderful birds and I, too, spoil mine, at least my grand-daughter says so. I finger and spoon feed her every meal. Oh, she eats on her own also. My cooking and food shopping revolves around her.
Is it ever hard to lose the extra pounds! Even five. Unfortunately I was in bed three days this week with a "bug" so not very much exercise. I did increase the weight for the arm/shoulder to three pounds. And the pain is decreasing!

Post edited by: kittykittykitty, at: 2008/08/07 23:53
I cancelled my vacation last year because I did not feel comfortable leaving my Grey. I have been gone overnight but I am always concerned since she is alone then.
