NEVER underestimate the power of a grey!

It doesn't make sense. The dog was in his yard on a lead. Why was the cop in your yard in the first place? I don't care what breed, that was no excuse for the shooting. There are tooooo many triger happy cops out there. Did you get any satisfaction from the city or PD?

Spock, you darling! I'm so glad you were able to sneak a couple of minutes and update us all! Please tell Poppy (Jay) I'm still sending healing light and please get well soon. Tell Maggie I love her a LOT. Remeber I love you too, really all your flock. Remind the others to be extra good so that Maggie has time to rest and so that Jay can get better fast. I had to be extra good when my mom was sick and getting better. And she did. Love you, Spock PRECIOUS

I'm even later. I worried a lot about what would happen to Precious if we lost power because I had no fireplace or wood stove. I bought a hot water bottle hoping I could put her in her traveling cage with that if I needed to. I had a gas stove and a gas water heater so I hoped I could have hot water. Winter is not wanting to say good-by here in "sunny" Southern California. Our local mountains are supposed to get one to three feet of snow tonight. I am very glad all of you and all the fids and other "babies" got through the bitter cold. Every time I saw a weather report I wondered how all of you were.

Our birds choose for themseves. Precious is female and she gets along well with all the ladies in the house-my two daughters, my grand-daughter, my great grand-daughter and me when I have the luxury of being there. She does all right with the men when they come to visit as well. But when we were foster parronts to Sammy, (s)he would not tolerate anyone other than my husband.
