I'm actually just about to check Alfie in for a check-up too. We don't think there is anything wrong with her at all, but after all her hoo-ha over the summer, she was due for a final check about now, so we intend to keep it. I'm just expecting a basic check up, but if the vet thinks she needs something extra so be it. you might be inclined to go down the same road with Harvey - basic check with extras if need be.
If it were a dog or a horse I'd know pretty much what to do myself, but Alf is a different matter and I need to trust in my vet completely.
