  1. I suggest you ask the cleaning queen Bettyboop to help with the cage cleaning
  2. He is probably just chattering to amuse himself. My guys talk to them selves all the time, but when I talk to them they usually stop to hear what I have to say. Why can't you put him back into his usual cage when you leave the room? I didnt understand that part?

  4. Can you imagine if you saw something like that in real life? That's incredible!
  5. Of course I did... I used the whatsit in the thingy and I spun it in the spinny yoke  It worked well didn't it:S
  6. That wasn't quite the effect I had in mind:blush:

    *sigh*

{Feel-good-0002006E} I'm not going to take sides in this argument. I think you are all mad!
  8. Poor Oisin doesnt get a word in edgeways with her ladyship. And even when he does, he sounds exactly like Liath so its very hard to tell who is saying what! Obviously Oisin takes after me, I'm really quiet too There ain't no way I am kissing no leg band... I know where those feet have been
  9. I think its No biting with a very posh accent. She likes to pretend she is royalty

  11. Liath has started talking with a girlie voice which is very strange considering she usually has a deep man's voice
  12. I'm not sure if this will work on this forum... it's pretty cool....
  13. I have one that my hubby made, that I use when I am bringing a grey into a room away from the perch. Like when I am doing laundry or whatever. They sit on it and chat to me to keep me company! I also use it to put them on when I am talking to them or training them to step up etc. And I use it as their toilet. They are trained to go on it on command.
  14. Because usually when a bird bites your hand, its because they want your hand to go away. Pulling your hand back gives them exactly what they want. So next time they want your hand to go away.... they bite, because it worked last time
  15. That is brilliant progress Amberly... Woody looks so content and posing for the camera too! Did he say Cheese??
  16. I just saw your photo of Woody sitting on your hand! So maybe Maggie doesnt need to worry after all Looks like you are definitely going down the right road with him. And taking things at just the right pace! Congratulations!

  18. It's 56 degrees here and this is our Summer! It has rained for the past 2 weeks. I suppose that's what keeps Ireland looking green and pretty If you need cooling off Laurie, this would do it for you!
  19. That is wonderful news. You are obviously so in love with him you can't drag yourself away from him for long! That's understandable... but don't stay away too long, we want pictures
  20. That is a brilliant idea. I don't like my birds flying into the kitchen, for obvious reasons, and my kids are forever forgetting to close the door. I must see if I can convince hubby that a beaded curtain in the kitchen is the latest in home design Karma to you for that simple but genius idea!
  21. {Feel-good-0002006E} I can't believe she can still undo the dish!!! I suppose its just a matter of time before Liath figures that one out too. She has only had the dishes a couple of months. They really are little brat's aren't they? It's a good job we love them anyway
  22. My 2 greys are in a cage like that, and they have no problems at all.
  23. Oh no! That's awful. It sounds like the birds came through without a hiccup, and you took the brunt of it! Has Fergie met Mr Magoo before? It sounds like she was just curious... could have been a dangerous curiosity! How are you doing now? Did Fergie hurt you when she bit you?
  24. Oh WOW! You got your baby home!! Congratulations! I would start letting him out as soon as he seems comfortable in the cage. If he's climbing around and eating that sounds really good. Hopefully he won't be one of the really nervous greys. I have one who is afraid of his own shadow, and one who gets really excited to see anything or anyone new! Oh the one hand its great that Liath isnt nervous, but on the other she is into all kinds of mischief, hopfully Woody will be somewhere between the 2:laugh: So how is he this morning? Are you going to let him out today? Or did you let him out last night? How did he get on?
