  1. jimmycoop2005 I am so sorry to hear that. I would contact the breeder & ask exactly what has happened ? They should reimburse you your money.Dont let them try & palm you off with another baby !You need to know what caused your baby's death etc.. & have they lost other babies ? Good luck hunny my thoughts are with you. Please keep us informed.

  3. Juice as a treat is fine, without added sugar & 100% natural is best.Never feed milk or any diary products( the occassional small cube of cheese is ok )Greys cannot digest diary products. Some members tip a small amount of juice on new foods to encourage their greys to eat it
  4. Hi,my three greys have a varied diet, seed fruit veg etc.. additional foods you can give are, mashed potato no butter or milk ! wholemeal toast with a spread of peanut butter or honey, hard boiled egg, scrambled egg, pasta, wholemeal rice, cereals like shreddies etc.. the list is endless really.Have a read through all the topics in the birdfood room, you will pick up loads of advice.Any foods you are not sure of just ask.

  9. Dan is correct,Greys vary with their talking abilities. Some talk early 3/4 months others a little later. If you type in " talking " in the search box at the top of the page you will be able to have a read through pervious topics.
  10. He is on the lower end of the scale for weight, but as long as he is healthy, active & has a good appetite i would not be to concerned. Greys vary in weight the same as us humans.

  15. Congratulations on getting Merlin.Have a look in the bird food room there are some good feeding tips in there
  16. Ronda477 you could try squashing her pellets & sprinkling them over her seed.Over time decrease the amount of seed & increase the pellets.Eat in front of her this will encourage her to try what you are having.

  19. It may be just a molt, As nothing has changed at all with diet, environment etc..I have two greys who are going through a heavy molt & they are shredding tons of downy feathers. If it was plucking bald patches would appear, i would just keep an eye out & perhaps give a fine misting with aloe. If you search either plucking or molting in the search bar at the top of the page you will be able to read over previous topics.
